Outstanding location close to downtown and the "Market" (the restaurant/nightlife area). Very clean, free parking, free and fast WiFi, and the very nice and service minded owner cooks up a mean and free breakfast.

The location and the breakfast at this place would be very hard to beat. We came during a very bad snowstorm, but were still close enough to everything to walk. The host was busy cleaning up the snow around the facilities, and was very helpful and friendly in making sure our car was secure despite the snow, and that the...

This is my third visit to Auberge des Arts. It is in a great location for walking through the centre of Ottawa... ByWard Market, Parliament Hill.... Pierre and Chantal go above and beyond what is expected. Breakfast is always great, sitting and chatting with guests over coffee! (and a nice breakfast selection)

I have been here 2 times now. One time, this past spring with my daughter. We needed a quick pit stop on a trip back from Quebec to Toronto. Chantel and her son are wonderful hosts. The house is quaint and comfortable and the breakfast was lovely. I am here this time for business and it was 20 minutes or...

I stayed at Auberge des Arts for three nights in late August during a solo trip to Ottawa, and was entirely pleased with my stay. Yes, as some people pointed out, there is a bit of a smell when one walks in, but I quickly ceased to notice it. What I noticed was how comfortable and clean my room was,...

Auberge Des Arts is a quaint little B&B, located within very close proximity of the Byward Markets. Pierre and Chantal are fabulous and friendly hosts with lots of helpful local information. Breakfast was superb and made to order. The building was dated and the floors were creaky, however everything was clean, the bed was comfortable and there was no street...

We came to Ottawa to spend the day/night looking around and doing a few tours. Pierre is a really pleasant, easy going guy who upon our arrival gave us a great map and sat down and gave us some really good info about the sites etc which I found useful and the map was extremely useful also. The location is...

I moved to Ottawa in August and it was my first time living away from home. Pierre and Chantal were excellent hosts and helped me sort out everything from a new phone, to a place to rent, to local attractions. My room was great value for money and breakfast each day was amazing! The location could not be better. It's...
