We booked this last minute with Hotwire. I've used Hotwire for years and have never had anything like this happen. This is not a hotel, this is a student residence that is not to capacity so they offset costs by renting it to the general public. To say this is a renovated residence transformed into a condo type hotel is...

Before booking this, we searched everywhere for a night stay in Ottawa but because of the family long weekend and Winterlude I guess the sites were quoting us $170ish for the four of us. And those that were reasonable were quite far from Ottawa Centre Not sure how I stumbled upon this but upon discovering booked it immediately. Did some...

The hotel is a short drive from the downtown.... the price is decent. I had stayed there previously and found the stay to be adequate. The only issue is that the front door parking lot is small and it gets filled up very quickly. The other parking lot is not too far but still a bit of a hassle to...

This is a budget hotel with basic facilities in the room including thin and rough towels etc. However the good thing is that you get two small rooms and if you are staying with kids that helps. Moreover there is a kitchen at your disposal and thats a great help. Dining are has a TV where kids can enjoy while...

This was our first visit to Ottawa for Winterlude, and the weather co-operated! Had a wonderful experience visiting museums and outdoor attractions. The RCC at St. Paul's U is the first RCC facility we've tried, so didn't know exactly what to expect. The beds were comfy; we slept well, using our own pillows...always travel with our own pillows. The TVs...

I stayed at the Residence and Conference Centre - Ottawa Downtown, this past July. It was excellent accommodations. I would recommend this type of accommodations for anyone who requires simple and less expensive stay than a traditional hotel. My room was very clean and well kept and came with a kitchenette, which would come in handy for someone staying at...

It is right next door to the university. Very clean, rooms are spacious with a very nice view of the park. Breakfast is simple but good. Staff is ok, however they threw away a bag with non perishables, claiming it was perishables, in less than 24 hours, which was upsetting.

Basic student dorms that are used as a hotel with a bathroom, mini-kitchen, two separate rooms. Very clean!!! Honestly, everything you need. FREE wifi and FREE parking. My colleagues and I stayed here for the CPA convention, which was hosted at the Westin downtown (10 minute drive, 30-min walk from our place). Breakfast is a little bit poor, but appreciated...
