We really enjoyed our stay at John's Gate. The property is beautifully maintained and our comfortable room was immaculate. Our hostess was both helpful and full of local knowledge. Her breakfasts were, in fact, gourmet breakfasts that were delicious. We would stay there again.

My girlfriend and I booked our first stay at Niagara on the Lake at John's Gate and what a magnificent time we had! From prompt responses to questions we had during booking, to excellent recommendations for wineries and restaurants to eat (Pillar and Post is a must!), to delicious home-cooked breakfasts, our host Meheroo outdid herself. We look forward to...

My husband and I have recently returned from a weekend at Niagara-on-the-Lake where we celebrated our 20th anniversary. I had planned the trip as a surprise and my husband commented on our way out of town that I had definitely booked us into the nicest bed and breakfast in all of Niagara-on-the-Lake! Not only was our hostess Meheroo extremely gracious...

Spent two nights in this lovely B&B and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Meheroo, the hostess, makes you feel like you're visiting your favorite aunt. She takes note of your likes and dislikes and tailors her menu accordingly. She also makes recommendations based on what she thinks you would like to do and not just the common list of touristy stops...

We stayed at John's Gate during the new "Family Day" long weekend in February and it was a fantastic deal! The house is custom built as a b&b and was a great comfort, as our room was nicely decorated and the private bathroom was surprisingly large. Because of the time of the year it was only $99/night, and for that...

My girlfriend and I decided to get away from every day life (kids, ect) for a weekend. It took quite a bit of researching online until we found a place that was both affordable and in a touristy area. We booked the Theatre and Spa package and enjoyed every minute of our weekend away. Meheroo, the hostess at John's Gate...

This was our second stay at John's Gate Bed and Breakfast in a three year period. We enjoyed our previous stay and could not settle for any other Bed and Breakfast in the area. John's Gate is second to none. The property is extreemly well kept and impeccably maintained, from the decor to the cleanliness. The hostess dedication shows in...

We stayed here for a single night in June 2007 as part of a tour around Lake Ontario. This B&B is an extremely well-presented house in a lovely garden, situated within easy walking distance of the centre of Niagara-on-the Lake. Meheroo, our host, was warm and friendly and runs a tight ship - shoes must be left at the door,...

My new husband & I stayed at John's Gate Bed & Breakfast for a weekend after our Wedding. Our hostess Meheroo was wonderful. She made sure we had information about the area, dinner reservations for the night we arrived, and booked our wine tour for the next day. The rooms were lovely, comfortable, and beautifully decorated each with its own...

We stayed at Johns Gate for 2 nights in February. Breakfasts were amazing. The first morning we started our meal with fresh fruit salad. The main course was smoked salmon on puffed pastry with scrambled eggs and fried tomatoes. Orange juice, tea and coffee were also served. (great coffee) Meheroo then brought out warmed banana bread to top off the...
