Very clean campground with all amenities one can think of. Bathrooms are clean and there are more than enough for the clients, especially considering that people in big RV’s do not use them. The swimming pools are nice, although the water is a bit too warm (yes). Perhaps the staff could be more asertive in enforcing the curfew, some people are in Niagara for partying. The campground is close to all services.
On the plus side, easy to find when traveling to Niagara Falls. A bus transportation system WEGO stops outside the campgroung. It has hot tub, indoor and outdoor pool. Evening activity center. Negative side. Camp sites are on the skimpy side. Electric circuit breaker overloads easily needing reset. First night was in camp site #39 on the end of the row. Our table was next to entrance drive with motor homes coming within 3 feet of table. Staff found a different site for our next two nights. Showers were heavily used and need to be cleaned more often.I would look for a different camp ground before staying here again.. Location is the main thing that they have going for them.
We stayed at this campsite in our rental RV so that we could visit Niagara Falls. The facilities were clean and decent quality. The big plus point for us was the ease of getting to Niagara Falls on the WEGO bus. It stopped right outside the campsite and transported us to all the key attractions.
this is a great place to visit. they have helpful friendly staff and I wanted to book an extra day just to take advantage of all the amenities. we took time for a pool swim and hot tub soak but there is so much more!! sadly duty calls and we have to go back to work and reality
I am a local to the area. This was the first time I camped at this KOA and it will be the only time I will ever camp there. First of all, the sites are extremely cramped. So cramped that you can hear the neighbors snoring. Secondly, I have never had my fire snuffed out by a bucket of water while camping before. I know they say no fires after 12 but when you are having a small fire, minding your own business and they actually come around and dump a bucket of water on your fire when you are sitting right there is unheard of! You pay good money for a tiny piece of land and I find it ridiculous that they actually pay people to come around and ruin your night. Midnight is not bedtime. And I know my neighbors felt the same when they had their fire put out as well. The workers there seemed miserable except for front desk which were nice and friendly. I guess I would be miserable too if it was my job to go around and be the buzz kill fire snuffer. My advice is pay 30$ less per night and go to Campark right up the street. They have all the recreation you and your family will need. There sites are bigger and the workers are pleasant and there is nobody bothering you at midnight to put your fire out!
