Bed was comfortable, and clean...room was spacious. Take your own hair dryer, not provided. Overall a good experience, just what we were looking for for a couple of nights stay. Great bang for your buck!

I initially booked into the 7 Oakes when my usual destination in Kingston - the Donald Gordon Centre - was booked solid for two weeks with a conference. My first stay was for two nights in mid-August at the beginning of the Queen's Football training camp. Selected the 7 Oakes due to its proximity to Queen's West Campus, and low...

We stayed overnight in Kingston while travelling between Ontario and Quebec with two small children. The room, with two comfortable queen beds, was clean and spacious. It was great to be able to pull up to the door of the room (no lugging baggage!), and to store our perishables in the convenient fridge. The owners are VERY friendly which made...

My family and I stayed at Kingston for 2 nights, and we really enjoyed our stay at 7 oaks Motel. The value of the motel was awesome, we got a big room that could accommodate our whole family of 5 people for a great price ! The room was clean, our family really enjoyed the cable and high speed internet....

My husband and I recently stayed here over the long weekend. The room was very affordable and clean, which was what we needed. Of course, based on the price, it wasn`t the most luxurious inn, but we spent most of the day exploring kingston, so we did not mind too much. The staff was very friendly and accomodating. The outdoor...

The owner felt like family rather than proprietor, offered us an upgrade on arrival. Free WIFi, outdoor pool and discounted vouchers for the 1,000 island cruise (saved $30) makes this a good base for outdoor activities. Good price, spacious rooms and friendly service make this an attractive proposition

My husband and I recently stayed at the 7 Oakes Motel. It was OK, but there were a few things that really bothered me. There was NO clock in the room at all and the lights outside were practically none existant. Supposedly, they were on a timer. That is OK for the lights just outside you door (which ours didn't...

We were a group of 8 friends getting together for two days. We found this motel to be very reasonable in price, in a good location, and we especially liked the size of the rooms. We chose "one queen" rooms. The one my husband and I rented had a couch and three chairs. By bringing in chairs from outside our...
