We stayed with Lise and Bernie for the second time in October 2016, the first time being last spring. The property itself is exquisitely maintained and your hosts go above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. Last spring we stayed in a large upstairs room on the south side, which was extremely comfortable and more like a suite. Our...

This was the first stop on our honeymoon. So glad to find that it is a very nice classy little bed and breakfast, extremely comfortable and the breakfast was phenomenal, my wife and I enjoyed our stay very much! The owner is a lovely lady, and our server for breakfast was wonderful. Great experience overall.

Booked a room for a family of 3. The 2-queen bed room is clean and nice. The only thing is the room is on ground floor with one side facing the parking. At night the curtain is not good enough to keep the light from outside. Breakfast is beautiful and great service. Vegetarian-friendly with vegan option!

St. John's Inn was our home away from home on the Sept long weekend, 3rd and 4th. We booked two rooms for the five of us an used this as our sanctuary while we toured Prince Edward County tasting wines. Every year in the fall my twin sister and I and our very best friend from high school get together...

Bernie and Lise will make you feel right at home in Belleville. We needed a place for an extended stay to say goodbye to my Grandma in palliative care in town. They made us feel so welcome, and I can't wait to go back under happier circumstances. It's a slightly different model as the owners live around the corner instead...

Charming, clean, welcoming, well located and oh so comfortable. Being handicapped finding suitable accommodations is not easy. This was perfect from the ground level entrance thru the extra wide doors and very accessible full washroom. Our room was large, spotless, and very comfortable with internet, full TV, a fireplace. Beautifully decorated with a small but complete table for our breakfast...

We loved our stay at this small, homely B&B. Arrival was made very flexible and convenient for us and the room was very comfortable. Both days we were served a complete and varied hot breakfast prepared fresh and at our leisure. The staff were very welcoming and had great suggestions about what to see and do in the area. Be...

I stayed at the St. John's Inn several times while in Belleville on business. The location is great, close to downtown and restaurants, and has on site free parking. The inn is quiet and the bed was very comfortable - I had a great sleep. The Lady Elizabeth suite has it's own bathroom / shower which was very convenient for...

Our two nights in the Lady Elizabeth Suite were cramped and uncomfortable. At the grand old age of 68 I had to climb over the end of the high bed and crawl along to get in because the double bed was tightly jammed against the wall. We had to live out of our suitcase because there was no where to...

There's clearly some disconnect between our experience and the positive reviews here. I sent this note to the inn post-trip, but after 4 days have received no response so am posting here: Now that our vacation is over, I would like to express our great disappointment with our stay at St. John's Inn and B&B. I appreciated the envelope left...
