First time visit. Lots of visitors and lots to do around the resort. We stayed in a three bedroom cottage with three bathrooms. This was great for our group of four. The screened-in porch with Adirondack chairs was a lovely spot to sit and enjoy the water views. The beds were very comfortable. The cottage was old but well-maintained. The...

While passing the Pictou area on the Trans Canada Highway, we were ready to have lunch at about 1 PM. It was a beautiful day, so I suggested the Pictou Lodge. My travelling companion didn't know the place, but I had had the pleasure of having lunch there a few years ago. Upon arrival, we were happily given a window...

Sometimes change is good, sometimes not. The recent changes to the Pictou Lodge dining room are on the plus side of the ledger. Backstory: About 6 years ago we were camping at Caribou-Munroe's Island, and on a whim walked down the beach for dinner at Pictou Lodge. We loved the vintage feel of the dining room with the log walls...

Just returned home from four perfect days at Pictou Lodge Beach Resort located on the Northumberland Shore in Nova Scotia! Staff was beyond friendly and helpful, food was delectable, view was spectacular and there was so much to keep you entertained that you never had to leave the complex! Hats off to Manager Wes Surette and his team!

We stayed there for one night. It is a bit out of the way, but nice for a family vacation. The hotel has a variety of room and bungalows, some with some without views. Clean and well appointed rooms but nothing special. Staff friendly and helpful. Well located for nice long walks on the beach. Wifi was iffy. The dinner...

Thanks to Trip advisor we found the Pictou lodge. We drove around Cape Breton the day before and needed a place to stay before catching the ferry to PEI. The location could not have been better since the ferry is less then 5 minutes away and a magnificent eagle greeted us upon our arrival. Although the weather interfered with our...

We went here on a Thursday evening for drinks and live music. The service was fair and the live music was excellent! The singer was very talented and kept the crowd engaged with Canadian favorites and other sing along songs, very entertaining. The cabins look very nice, too, although I didn't stay here.

This is a slice of heaven overlooking the Atlantic in Nova Scotia. The lodge is beautiful, warm and inviting. We loved it so much that we came back two days later. The grounds are beautiful and rooms are comfortable. The Restaurant was also very good. I can't wait to return.

The food the staff and the accommodations are world class. I will be back for sure. Everything about this place from the food to the staff are better that I thought they would be. I have taken lots of my friends for dinner and they all were blown away
