This is a wonderful home full of style and comfort. There was a wonderful view of the water from the back of the house. Each room is full of charm and very clean. The hosts were very hospitable and friendly. I would love to stay here again.

This B&B looks like a typical smaller Nova Scotia heritage house but is actually a log cabin brought by settlers from New England! If you want to learn some of the history of the province from the fascinating hosts - this is your place. The room was comfortable and the whole house is restored with real antique artefacts. Perhaps not...

Thank you for your review. It was a pleasure having you and your husband stay with us. It is always nice to hear that guests appreciate the efforts that Tony and I have done to restore the home, and offer guests a chance to experience what life may have been like over 230 years ago. Happy Travels.

My mother, sister and I met up here for a weekend getaway and loved it. We were charmed by its 18th century looks and by the owners who generously opened their home and its stories to us. The owners also run a delicious cafe called Mag Pyes so are often there working or picking up guests at the ferry. Guests...

This is without doubt the most interesting B&B in which we have ever had the pleasure of staying. Margaret and Tony were the perfect hosts, welcoming, friendly and helpful in every way. The house is very old and has been authentically restored with immense care by its owners. The result is a comfortable time capsule that we throughly enjoyed living...

Incredible hosts and a stay that exceeded expectations! We're not usually the Bed and Breakfast kind of people, but we were sold after a couple of friendly chats with Margaret on the phone and through e-mail so we booked the Elizabeth room for 2 nights along with the zodiac whale watching tour (which is run by a separate operator, but...
