Imagine a B&B filled with antiques, tastefully decorated, with a large comfortable four poster bed. Now add beautiful gardens, excellent breakfast and a convivial host and you have the Weary Gardener B&B. Go and find out for yourself.

We stayed at the Weary Gardener during our vacation in Sydney. The experience was wonderful. Vince is a gracious host and a treasure for a new traveler to the area, he warmly shared his home, experiences, and knowledge of Cape Breton.

Like a former reviewer, we too have stayed at many B&Bs and this one is outstanding! It starts with the great location on a quiet street close to a beautiful park and within easy walking distance to restaurants and The Big Fiddle. The grounds are lovely - The B&B is well-named. It must take a great deal of work to...

We just left the b&b this morning and all we can say is "wow". It's very lax, well run and charming. The owner Vince is very kind and makes you feel like family. The rooms were comfortable, en-suit was very clean and accommodating. Do not pass up an opportunity to stay here, we will most certainly be back!

We have stayed in many B & Bs this one is the best of them all. Vince was the most gracious host and made the most delicious breakfast. The whole house is so well decorated and so clean. The minute we drove up we were welcomed by Vince who immediately took care of us. His hosting skills are second to...

I initially chose this B&B because I liked the title; it had pathos and it implied a sense of humour. My instinct proved correct. Vince and Frazier were the most perfect of hosts. The house is beautifully appointed and Vince's breakfasts are to die for. The accommodation is so comfortable, warm and snug you don't want to leave it. The...

My husband and best friend and I booked both rooms for two nights in August 2014 and had the most lovely of stays. Vincent could not have been more hospitable and accommodating, we felt at home instantly. The lovely common area upstairs was our privately as we booked both rooms and it was a great place to relax and chat...

Having now read the other reviews about this wonderful, warm and comfy B&B and after sending Vince a small gift of appreciation, I'm at a loss to add my thoughts it would be repeating what others are saying. If I had any criticism it would be a reminder for me to take my own bar of soap. All the amenities...
