The location is perfect - across from the Fort and just a block away from the Historic Gardens. Our room was tiny, with just 2 wooden chairs for sitting. The bed was comfortable but the linens were tired. The floor needed repainting. Everything was very clean. You couldn't open the window as there was a very noisy air conditioner in...

The selected the Garrison House because we had stayed at an affiliated inn in Wolfville, and we made a smart decision. The staff was wonderfully friendly, and when the Wifi was not working well in our original room, they upgraded us at no additional cost. Our room (#2) was charming--large, well furnished, great bathroom. The full, not breakfast that came...

We enjoyed dinner at Garrison House so much we went back for a second time during our stay in Annapolis Royal. The food is outstanding and beautifully presented. The atmosphere in the historic house dining room is wonderful. And I can't say enough good things about the staff- friendly, helpful, efficient, and all a waitstaff should be. Would return there...

We stayed here for a night last summer. We wanted to be right in the heart of Annapolis Royal, so we could walk everywhere, and Garrison House is right in the thick of it. We were in Room 5 on the top floor, and it was a little tricky getting up the steep narrow stairs with our luggage, but the...

We had dinner at Garrison House Inn after missing a previous booking due to be late back from a Digby Neck whale watching trip. We started on the semi-enclosed side terrace, but found the mid-June evening a little cool. We asked about moving indoors - no problem. Our meal was excellent from start to finish and we I'll certainly return...

My husband and I needed a weekend getaway. We loved our corner room. It was spacious and so well decorated for the period of the old home. It was great to have a renovated bathroom with a full sized tub and an air conditioned room. We loved being able to stroll downtown and visit the little shops. Breakfast which was...

We loved the Garrison House Inn so we spend a second night. Super location, clean, updated bathrooms. (one complaint though - shower hot/cold finicky). In the morning they serve either eggs/bacon/toast or homemade granola/yogurt/fruit, which I chose today. It was like dessert - the yogurt and fruit were perfectly fresh. Windows don't open so we turned the air conditioner on....

My wife, I and a visiting friend reserved two rooms just a couple of days before we intended to arrive. On arrival, we were greeted by an enthusiastic young lady by the name of Tabatha. She was delightful and gave us keys to our rooms, which we found were well-appointed with queen bed, a wing chair and a love couch,...

The Inn was in a reasonable part of town, just a short walk from Fort Anne and the waterfront. As per most B&Bs the rooms were upstairs which were quite steep and narrow which makes navigating with a heavy bag a bit tricky. When we checked in we found the girl quite unhelpful. We asked for recommendations of what to...

After reading about this place in Fodor's, we had to try it! The reviews are spot on, my steak was an impressive example of perfection, her Jambalaya was second to none, exotic and spicy deliciousness! Make sure to experience this dining delight!
