My friend and I stayed in the front bedroom with twin beds in this elegant and beautifully furnished house in Annapolis Royal, Nova Scotia. We were walking distance from the town and the heritage gardens next door. Phil was happy to accomodate us and tell us where we could get a meal. Val cooked a wonderful breakfast for us. The...

We make an annual pilgrimage to the Hillsdale House, this time with visiting family members. Each room at the Hillsdale is beautiful and uniquely decorated and the grounds are lovely, but the warm and relaxed hospitality shown by Val and Paul raise this inn above the rest. Our hosts always do something to make our visit special, whether it's tea...

The individual rooms were private, comfortable, and elegant. As well, the meeting room situation and equipment provided by the Inn was perfect for us. Our meeting was exceptionally productive, due in large...

Tastefully appointed with Victorian flair, this delightful inn is the perfect place from which to explore the incredible history of Annapolis and Port Royal. Each room is unique and offers a glimpse of life for the well-heeled traveler in late 1800's, yet still provides the modern conveniences of the modern era. The rooms overlooking the estate are particularly fine. After...

For well over a decade, staying at the elegant Hillsdale House has been an annual highlight for our group of (rug) hookers. We are always welcomed like good friends into this comfortable, immaculate property; and each year we become more appreciative of the beautiful period decor and the special touches in the guest rooms. Many thanks to innkeepers, Val and...
