I've been meaning to write about this Inn sooner but time gets away from you so I have to tell you that this is an excellent place to stay. We planned our stays in Nova Scotia from home and this place fit our schedule. We had a friendly greeting when we arrived and selected our room from two offered, We...

An impressive building and interior. Very clean, good sized bedroom. A 'rocky' suitcase stand and the bathroom door stuck. Not enough hooks or shelves in the bathroom. The owners were welcoming, friendly and accommodating. Only real criticism would be that the owners always seemed to be in a rush, consequently there was no real contact with them.

Hilldale Inn is an excellent place to stay. This was my first time to stay at Hilldale INN B&B. and won't be my last when visiting Annapolis Royal, NS. Beautiful Inn with an excellent Breakfast. Room was very comfortable, very clean. If you like the old charm type Inns, this is the place to stay.

The hosts Val & Paul make your stay a great one. Beautiful property, very quiet. This is a beautiful Heritage Inn we stayed in Room #1. I loved the old fashion style bathtub with legs. The room was big lots of room. Love it when you are given glasses instead of plastic cups. The location was within walking distance to...

We had two nights here on a tour of Nova Scotia. This is a beautiful house with several equally lovely reception rooms. We had a downstairs room overlooking the garden -- also very handy for carrying in our luggage. There is a large garden that would be great in warmer weather. Breakfasts were excellent with home made muffins and a...

Our family of four stayed here one night. The staff were great, breakfast was quick and yummy, the kids enjoyed the big grass lawn and croquet outside, and everything you want to see is within walking distance. The hosts gave us a map and some good tips on what to see and where to eat. Our rooms were a bit...

Charming, delightful heritage inn! Wonderful location within walking distance to downtown and other attractions such as Historical Gardens and The Fort. The grounds were immaculate and welcoming. Val and her husband were a wealth of information and quick to meet requests. Only B and B with two beds we could find in our month long trip. The decor was outstanding...

Impressively decorated classic mansion in period style (antiques, décor, etc.) but with modern amenities. The full served breakfast included the nest pancakes I have ever had with real maple syrup. My wife is on a special food plan which was easily accommodated by the staff. The room was very comfortable and the inn is convenient to everything in Annapolis Royal...

We stayed here for one night and found the hosts Val and Paul to be very gracious and friendly. The place has many upgrades, and the location is on 12 acres of green space. The included breakfast was very generous, including your choice of eggs done any way, or strawberry wench toast prepared very professionally. They even had a Town...

We stayed here last night. We weren't sure about staying in Annapolis Royal- the alternative was Digby. What a great decision. Our room, #2, was perfect. Lots of windows and light and a view of the beautiful front yard. Easy walk to town passing impressive old homes and gardens. (So much history- be sure to take the night time graveyard...
