Tucked away in a residential neighborhood is the Blue Shutters B&B. Small but comfortable rooms, extremely clean, and quiet. The B&B offers a breakfast menu to choose from....and the homemade bread is heavenly. We'd return if in the area.

These hosts are fantastic. The suites are adorable and romantic. They have successfully been in business for years and it really shows with all the little things. Simple bathroom toiletries you may have forgot to pack are tucked away in the bathroom for you, Daryl has maps and information on all things local and the fridge in the kitchen is... More

Wonderful experience. Our two amazing hosts, Diane & Darryl, were friendly, extremely knowledgeable and helpful during our three night stay. Our room with an en suite bath was extremely comfortable and spacious. Great choices for everyone for breakfast and the homemade jams were delicious. We definitely enjoyed the outside seating area and made the most of it. What made it... More

The "Blue Room" offered us comforts we thought were only available in top end hotels. Each morning we chose from a menu which included eggs, bacon, pancakes, French toast...The food was very good. We thoroughly enjoyed our two nights at the B & B.

Diane and Darryl were friendly, informative and wonderful hosts who suggested places for us to visit, and even recommended that we change our itinerary a bit to be able to see areas better. We loved the room and bathroom that were appointed with everything you could think of. Breakfast was delicious and generous, and we loved sitting on the deck... More

My husband and I stayed in the blue room for two nights the third week of July. We were met by Darryl who gave us a great overview of the house amenities and the surrounding area. Even though we had done some prior research, it was so helpful to be given a map and suggested itineraries. The house seems to... More

My husband and I have both stayed at this B & B twice before. We had a different room this time, and it was even nicer and larger than the other. The owners are very nice people. Everything is clean and neat. The breakfasts are delicious and served between 7 am-9 am. Each room has its own bathroom. You have... More

Daryl and Diana were very welcoming and accomodating. The breakfast was fabulous--I'm still thinking about the ginger pancakes! And they serve the best bacon I've ever had! We stayed in the Green Room which was luxurious and comfortable--we had a great night sleep and the terrace off our room was a nice place to sit. The perfect balance between modern... More

The Blue Shutters exceeded our expectations. We booked last minute and were fortunate that they had an opening. It is in a great location, walkable to the downtown, near trails and greenspaces. The room was clean, comfortable and well appointed. They have thoughtfully included many amenities, laundry facilities, DVD movies to watch, etc. We had the best sleep during our... More
