I motorcycled into Yellowknife with a booking already made. The location on the bay is excellent for float plane watching and I like to walk so the walk into the city was no big deal. The communal room and fridge upstairs was clean, comfortable, and a nice touch. The food in the restaurant is recognized around Yellowknife as excellent and...

Unfortunately we had a bad experience here even before we might have stayed. We needed to speak to someone before booking instead of just using booking.com as we had a specific question regarding services. Multiple phone calls were not returned, and service over the phone (after chasing them down) was hurried and rude. Overall, the process made it feel as...

We stayed in the Northern Lights room for 3 nights and 1 night in the Willows Room. Taxi from airport is about CAD20. Both rooms were good, but I like the Northern lights better. It has its own microwave oven and a coffee maker (which we did not use). Also, the Northern Lights room is located at the ground floor...

Nice rooms with lots of privacy - I stayed in the Willows with a private bath. Comfortable bed, interesting area of town. The owner is quiet but is very kind and helpful. The cafe downstairs is excellent.

I have four objectives when I visit a bed and breakfast. I stayed in the Midnight Sun room for five nights. Sleep: Double bed was comfortable--firm with good pillows. The usual sheet + duvet combination was supplemented by a medium-weight blanket in the closet. The blinds did an excellent job of blocking out the nearly-all-night sun. Four nights were quiet....

All breakfast menu items are included here while staying at the Bayside B&B. During our 2 day stay the four of us had breakfast twice and lunch once. The food was consistently good, no matter what we ordered, and the service was everything we could have asked for as well. Nice view, friendly relaxed atmosphere .

I stayed in the Willows room for 4 nights. Comfortable twin beds with an ensuite (sink, toilet and shower). The rooms have digital locks and you are given a key to the main door so that you can go in and out as you need to. I was there to photograph the Northern Lights so each night was a late...

I actually stayed at the Bayside b&b in late November 2015. We got yo yellowknife without room reservations on a weekend that everyone and their mother were in town. When I thought I was about to sleep in my vehicle, I received a call back from John at Bayside, he said he was full but offered a room that used...

I tried to book a night after the place that I was staying was booked. From the get go communication was awkward and forced. The room was incredibly dusty, with dust bunnies and animal hair under the beds. There were mismatched light fittings, holes in the wall from previous mounting jobs, the heating unit was old and difficult to use...

The guest's issues fall into three categories: (1) Wi-fi quality (2) The quality of the cabin (3) Service quality In the paragraphs to follow, we respond to these issues - and provide further commentary afterward. (1) Wi-Fi Quality The WIFI issue was temporary. It was fixed shortly after the guest left. (She stayed only one night.) The solution required, as...

I made the reservation for Bayside even 3 months ago. I really wanted to stay here and my choice was right. We saw the aurora from the living room for 2 nights of 3 nights we stayed here. You don't have to go for tour and wait in the cold outside. Just stay in the living room and go out...
