My boyfriend and I checked into the Ryan Mansion after five days in the Delta Hotel for a conference. We sorely needed a little bit of quiet and seclusion after the craziness of those days and from the minute we walked into the Ryan Mansion, we knew we were in for a truly decadent treat. We were met by Suzanne,...

Dear matron_saint, We thank you for your kind words, which I have passed on to my team already. We are delighted to hear that you felt like this was "Home away from Home". That, indeed, is the best compliment of all. Hope to see you again, should you find yourselves in St. John's, in the future. Warm Regards, Suzanne

The Ryan Mansion is a beautiful step back in time. You feel like a wealthy St.John's merchant from days past. The Mansion is beautifully restored, the room's are very well-appointed and modern - warm fireplaces, luxurious bathrooms, amazing beds. The breakfast each morning was 5-star. Delicious breakfasts with a hint of Newfoundland. Finally, the service is the best I have...

We have stayed in several B&B's around St. John's and this is by far the most beautiful. The room was lovely. The breakfast was scrumptous with a fruit salad to start and then cream cheese stuffed french toast with partridgeberry compote. To top it all off, we were upgraded to a Master Suite upon arrival. Overall a great experience!

My wife and I left our baby with the Grandparents for a 4 day vacation in St. John's. We found Ryan Mansion online (including some Tripadvisor reviews) and decided to book here. We were pleasantly surprised by the entire house (a lovingly restored family mansion originally built by a wealthy SJ family) and in particular our room. The room had...

I had the pleasure of staying at Ryan Mansion for 4 days while attending the International Women's Film Festival. It is a beautifully restored Queen Anne mansion filled with an impressive, extensive, eclectic art collection. I had a huge lovely room with an excellent jacuzzi bathtub. The breakfasts were delicious and surprising. The hospitality was gracious, relaxed and generous. It...

Ryan Mansion is a very beautiful B&B indeed, I don't know what more I can add that has not already been mentioned. The level of service from all the staff we received during our stay surpassed what we had expected. Beautiful century home with historical content regarding the Titanic. Around every corner is an interesting piece of art work for those of us who appreciate refined surroundings. The rooms are quite large with a sitting area and comfortable beds. We found the walk downtown rather easy but the hills in St. John's on the way back remind me that I...
