Visited this place for a great night out with my wife. Room was awesome with a street view of Water Street. Service and check-in was easy and staff were very friendly. Stayed in one of the supreme rooms (awesome design with brick, stone, huge tub, and every other feature you would expect - can't imagine what the deluxe room would...

Stopped in for a quick drink prior to having dinner across the street. Great tap, bottle and can list, well stocked bar and very friendly service. Really liked the atmosphere and a fun place to people watch. On the to do list for dinner later in the week!

We were very happy with the communications we had with Sully concerning this off site apartment. All the details of this property are very well thought out. The location, decor, furniture and bed were 10/10. Waking up in the morning with the view of Signal Hill was such a treat! You can walk easily to the bustling downtown of St...

Nice restaurant in the middle of town. A bit noisy, however. Prices are on the high side and service is slow. Dinner for six for example was $400 Canadian. Food is good, however. It's worth at least one visit while you are in St. John's.

Best chowder I have ever had. Period. Lobster roll was outstanding too. Manager and server were so polite and attentive. They even took us on a tour of the boutique hotel that is attached to the resto. Cod tacos were a stand out as well! Can't miss this place.

I’ve been to Blue on Water several times and this restaurant continues to meet my expectations. I have been to Blue for brunch and lunch, so my comments will reflect those experiences. Atmosphere: Casual, relaxed, friendly staff and pretty typical service/wait time. Food: I’ve only ever had the smoked salmon bagel and seafood chowder (appetizer) + steak and fries (main)....

This was our first impression of Newfoundland as we drove in from the airport. Very lively scene on the ground floor on Water Street with the bar and restaurant. We hesitated for a minute but all was OK as we went upstairs where quiet prevailed and the rooms are well styled and appointed. Friendly staff greeted us! Our room was...

Food is overpriced with unimaginative main item surrounded by pretensious trimmings. Greeted by waitress with barely concealed disinterest and served a one person portion of bread to three people that tasted like it was left out for three days sliced. Oversalted cod, bland salmon and chicken. Way overhyped. Lacks anything memorable.

We had a wonderful stay at Blue on Water and would recommend to everyone. The bar downstairs has great food and cocktails, the rooms are modern with exposed brick to add a touch of charm and the staff is welcoming and friendly. Will be back!

I stayed in Blue on Water with my boyfriend July 22-July 25. We were so impressed by the room - great size, nice finishes, Keurig coffeemaker, mini fridge, beautiful updated bathroom. I can't say enough good things! Every staff member I encountered went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and content. We didn't have dinner in the restaurant,...
