We had a basic room, but it was clean and had everything we needed.
The bar was great for a draft pint upon arrival, bartender was very friendly; front desk staff were very accommodating and resourceful.

Thank you for your question. I do not know who you are or the particulars for your reservation so I can only answer in generalities. If someone made a reservation for a particular date there is no way for the hotel to know that there was an error made. The hotel honors the reservation as it was booked and holds a room for you for that date. We do not give your room away to anyone else and if we are sold out, then that means that we have to turn away other people that want this date because we are holding a room for you. If you fail to show up for that date, then you are charged as a no show for just the first night of your reservation and any additional nights are cancelled.
