We stayed here Thanksgiving weekend in order to attend a wedding in Winnipeg. The house is an historical treasure with period furniture and modern refinements. Our bed on the second floor was exquisite. Giovanni and Christine are excellent hosts. Giovanni is the breakfast chef with a fine Italian touch for omelettes while Christine bakes amazing muffins and loaves to accompany...

My sister and I really enjoyed our stay at Beechmont B & B.. Christine and Giovanni are excellent hosts and provided us with maps, sightseeing information and historical background. They cooked us delicious gourmet breakfasts including freshly baked muffins (including rhubarb), banana bread and flavorful omelets. Their place is beautiful and we slept well in our top floor “servant’s quarter”....

This was our first visit to Winnipeg from the U.S. and we could not have found a better B&B to stay at in my opinion. The location is close to the downtown in a quiet neighborhood of beautiful old homes. We were very pleased that we got a reservation here on somewhat late notice. We spent two nights in the...

We overnighted at the Beechmount on our way through Winnipeg this Easter. This is a gorgeous grand home, thoughtfully renovated and well-appointed. Our hosts Christine and Giovanni were very welcoming, knowledgeable about services available in the area, generous with their time, and interesting conversationalists. Breakfast was a succulent feast, elegantly served. I had to pry the other half away, as...

The property is well kept in the historic district of Winnipeg. Walking distant to many restaurants. Christine and Giovanni make excellent breakfast and are very accommodating! They...

Recently my girlfriend and I travelled to Winnipeg for her stepbrothers wedding and her stepfathers 80th birthday party. We booked in for 2 nights as there was way too many people at the relatives. This gorgeous heritage house is restored beautifully with deep rich hardwood and has quite the story about the restoration. The Gates are about a half hour...

We returned to Winnipeg for a school reunion and family visiting, and stayed with Christine and Giovanni for four days - this time, not in the 3rd-floor suite where we'd spent a week on our last visit, but in the spacious 2nd-floor ensuite bedroom with fireplace overlooking Westgate. We loved our return stay - not only the beauty of our...
