We stayed here from the 5 November through until 10 November. Yes the bunks don't offer a lot of privacy and you have to wait your turn for the bathrooms and showers.Everything else is amazing! Jared (the chef) cooks the most amazing food in the...More
We stayed in the tundra lodge for 5 nights. Every lodge has 20 sleeping bunks, 3 toilets and 2 bathrooms. The housekeeping did their best to keep it clean but there was a group of tourists with a very different culture that did not have...More
Please note I have traveled on many tours. This experience was a first.
The other Tundra Buggy Lodge reviewers explain the basics.

Other reviews very accurately describe the overall experience - which is excellent; both the accommodations and all Frontiers North staff. We had a wonderful time in the Lodge (bunk beds are very comfy) and our driver Luke was terrific - even if he didn't let...More

Hi there, apologies for not seeing this question sooner. You would be pleasantly surprised at how much the privacy and sound dampening curtains and walls block out the noise from your fellow travellers at the Tundra Buggy Lodge. Absolutely you'll get a snorer or be one yourself....but you'd be amazed at what you can get over for the chance to lay your head on a pillow and look out the window and see a polar bear sleeping nearby. Earplugs always work wonders for me and the Tundra Buggy Lodge has a huge container full of brand new ones just in case you forget yours. I can honestly say for a couple of nights of your life it is well worth it - there isn't anywhere else on earth like it! Besides after all that lovely fresh sub-arctic air you'll get while wildlife viewing all day, you'd be surprised how tired it makes you at the end of the day! Hope that helps. If not, definitely call the Frontiers North office to chat. I've slept many times out at the Tundra Buggy Lodge and each time I cannot wait to go back and stay there again.
