The place it's self is not bad. Clean, free parking, and free wifi with a decent pool area. However it's not in Whistler Village, it's quite removed from everything. Does not have a restaurant or anywhere to grab snacks or water. The reception staff is super confused. The check out process took way longer then it needed to. She kept...

The location is basically at the base of Blackcomb...so just a block's walk down the cobblestone pathway to the chairlift and main Blackcomb lodge. The best part is it is next door to the Fairmont and that hotel is one of the jewels of Whistler. I recommend eating there - they are marvelous. Back to the Embarc...the rooms are a...

Friends arranged for us to stay at whistler in Embarc property Checkin was easy and staff were friendly. Parking was free and unit we stayed in was clean and very comfortable. Staff assisted with choices for restaurant choices. Overall a great night away from home for the two of us

Guess I'm different than most guests here. I booked a room (or "vacation home", as they insist on calling it) through a hotel site online. I needed a place to stay while in Whistler on business for a few days and this was very reasonable. The pros: 1. Spectacular scenery 2. Friendly front desk staff 3. Giant suite of rooms...

It's not often that you walk into a hotel and say, "wow, this is even nicer than the pictures". That was the case at Embarc Whistler. We took advantage of as many hotel amenities as we could and found them all to be to our liking. The kitchens were well stocked, the pool was nice, the workout room had ample...

We stayed two weeks in early May, and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We knew the weather might be "iffy", but we worked around occasional sprinkles and cool weather to have a very enjoyable time. The location was ideal, the staff very accommodating, the heated pool very therapeutic, the exercise center, food market and under cover/gated free parking were all very positive...

We had a 2 bedroom suite for only 170 per night. It was a great deal and very roomy. The rooms could use an upgrade. The tv's were glitchy. On the good side, it was a small apartment with a full kitchen and 2 full bathrooms. The master bath jacuzzi was almost as big as a hot tub. The only...

First off I have to disclose that I am a Starwood Vacation Owner/Vistana. My husband had "won" a two bedroom - one week gift certificate to stay at any Embarc property. We had originally booked for Mexico (two bedroom) but had to cancel and re-booked for Whistler (one bedroom). Being from Vancouver, we go to Whistler quite often and usually...

We exchanged for a week here in a one bedroom room. The room was nice. The decor was appropriate and nice. The best part of the room was the bathroom. There is enough space for everything you need. My only complaint is the shower. There is no shower door, so water gets out. The kitchen was useful and worked. The...

We have been using our Whistler time share for the past 16 years. We watched our girls grow up learning to ski and snowboard here. They loved all the amenities of the club. Now they are in college and high school but love to return.
