This was the perfect place for a wedding, the staff were welcoming and helpful the moment that we arrived making us feel right at home. The rooms are elegant and spacious with a real European flare. The four breakfast with flavourful coffee and delicious food was a great send off to a terrific stay.

My wife and I stayed here for a couple of nights and truly loved it. We have stayed in many B&B's throughout the United States and Europe and certainly rate Villa Marco Polo ranks right up there with the best. It's located in a rather exclusive residential area a couple of miles from downtown. The room itself was very comfortable,...

My wife and I spent three nights here on a three week fly-drive holiday to western Canada. The staff e-mailed me before we left England and advised me to book the ferry from Vancouver and not just turn up on the day (good advice as the ferries were crowded!). We had a very warm welcome from Diane. She showed us...

We just stayed in the penthouse suite (Shiraz) of the Villa Marco Polo Inn (B&B). It had every comfort and was beautifully appointed. Located in a residential area with several other B&Bs just out of downtown, it was conveniently located with plenty of free parking on the street. The staff were very friendly and helpful and breakfast was an exceptional...

I booked this accommodation on the strength of the reviews and was not disappointed. I required a comfortable room for three as my wife and I where on holiday with our daughter who is now a resident of Canada. We booked the Shiraz Suite which was the entire upper floor which was superb. Apart from lovely views from the balcony...

My husband arranged for our first night of our 20th Anniversary trip to be at the Villa Marco Polo. It is truly a beautiful place. The rooms and garden are spectacular and comfortable. The owner/operators are friendly and accommodating. We experienced several delays getting there, but they were so gracious to meet us there, even late. We spent time in...

Everything you can read in the other reviews is true: beautifully decorated B&B, good location, excellent breakfasts, etc. But above all I would point out the friendliness and professionalism of Diana and Danusia, which made of our stay in the Marco Polo a truly memorable experience.

We stayed here as part of our honeymoon and the staff were so inviting, friendly and helpful. The hotel is beautifully furnished and the bedrooms large and luxurious. The breakfasts were exceptional and extremely tasty. The villa also has a delightful garden and we became friendly with the neighbour's cat Thomas. The villa is a 20 minute walk from downtown...

You can't go wrong with this property as it's one of the best B&Bs we've stayed at. From our arrival, we were greeted with hot tea and freshly baked cookies that we enjoyed in their gorgeous gardens. The room was lovely, and we received turn down service in the morning and before bed. Breakfast was truly gourmet -- we received...

The highlight of our stay in Victoria was the stylish Villa Marco Polo. It's a beautiful house situated in a quiet area. It has a most splendid garden, beautiful to admire and wonderful to sit in. The owners and staff make you feel at home immediately and gave the most interesting tips to do in the neighbourhood. The B&B and...

A leisurely game of bocce, a glass of amarone, a stroll past the reflecting pool of an Italian Renaissance garden, a massage in a romantic penthouse spa. Tuscany or Umbria perhaps? In fact, the exotic Villa Marco Polo, one of Victoria's most sumptuous inns, is located in Victoria's elegant Rockland quarter.
