Absolutely loved this place! They staff went out of their way to make our stay fabulous. We got to check in early, they prepared our gourmet breakfast 45 minutes early so we could catch our ferry (the scones and French Toast were heavenly!). It was so quiet and relaxing in our spacious Rose Garden bedroom. We had fresh flowers in...

We stayed at the Fairholme for four nights in late November 2016. This is a beautifully maintained heritage building located next door to the Governor's residence in a quiet part of town, just 10-15 minutes walk to Downtown Victoria. Our room was spacious and tastefully furnished, and the bed was very comfortable. Our hosts, Sylvia and Ross, went out of...

My husband, myself and various family members have stayed at the Fairholme Manor at least 4 times. Sylvia and Ross are amazing hosts! The rooms are all wonderful, the breakfast is delicious and the location is great too. I'm already planning my next stay at the Fairholme Manor in June 2017!

Amazing B&B. We stayed there while visiting our daughter in Victoria for three days and we were delighted with every aspect of it. The location, nestled in a residential area, peaceful and walking distance to restaurants. The rooms are comfortable and very quiet. Breakfast is outstanding. But most of all the host Sylvia (and her hubby) are exceptionally warm and...

I've travelled around the world and stayed in some of the best hotels but this place is paradise! The rooms are stunning and the view from the Olympic suite is to die for! Amazing breakfasts and outstanding hospitality! Truly impressive. The owners Sylvia and Ross are phenomenal. Felt so spoiled! Definitely coming back!

We stayed in the penthouse suite and must say it was very comfortable and spacious. The suite is huge with great views, king bed, jetted tub, fireplace and a full kitchen (we're to lazy to use when on holidays). The breakfast that we had for the couple mornings of our stay were well prepared and very tasty. Sylvia and Ross are...

I stayed at the Fairholme Manor for three nights with my parents in the Rose Garden suite. The suite featured a main room with a king-sized bed and sitting area, a private deck with table for four which had views of the grounds and (off in the distance) the ocean, a second bedroom with a queen-sized bed, a well-equipped kitchenette...

I can't say enough about this truly special place. I have been staying in B&B's for the last twenty plus years, and have learned to lower my expectations somewhat. The Fairholme Manor did not meet my expectations, it exceeded them. Sylvia, Ross and Susan are the most unpretentious welcoming hosts one could possibly meet. Even though we were staying in...

Can really only echo all the positive reviews for Fairholme Manor, Ross and Sylvia. This was our first time visiting and we will return. The accommodations are excellent, spacious and well decorated. The breakfast was fantastic and not to be missed. Ross and Sylvia suggested a couple of wines which were also very good and priced well. All in all,...

Storybook setting and hostess with the mostest. Gorgeous home with 10' ceilings and impeccably maintained and decorated. Between Sylvia's cooking and their hospitality, you will want to stay forever. The Manor is located next to the government house whose public grounds are 2nd only to Butchart Gardens. Easy walk to old town, waterfront, eating, shopping. Awesome experience and we met...
