This small RV resort is tucked away and overlooks the ocean beside West Bay Marina. From every spot there is a view with the float planes taking off and landing and the little ferries going back and forth. At night you have the city lights of Victoria and it is very close to restuarants, shopping and downtown which can be accessed by bike, walking or vehicle. You hear the church bells from downtown. The booking process was exceptionally easy and the staff helpful and friendly. The resort is very clean with security cameras all over the resort making us feel safe. We loved the senerity of this resort, so peaceful and very quiet.

A Very nice clean Area with great washrooms and Huge shower rooms. Staff was very helpful and location was great with great hiking trails nearby and access to Water Taxi to different location in the Inner harbor. The Only down fall for me was the lack of tree's which meant no shade at all.

Campground is very good, facilities are excellent, due to COVID 19 everybody has to adapt and they have done a good job to make people safe. The sites all have level concrete pads with full hook ups. Views on Ocean side pads are excellent, 10 mins from downtown by water taxi, 60 minutes walk via the sea wall. We have stayed here over several years even when it was run by Westbay Marina, always enjoyed our stay and look forward to our next trip.
Only one downside is the mess the Canada geese make around the park, I think the owners could do a better job of cleaning the mess up, still it will not put us off staying there in the future.

Thank you for your review of our resort. We have hired a company that uses border collies as a geese deterrent and it has been very effective. We no longer have any messes in the park. We hope you can return again soon!

This is a beautiful park but one of the most expensive on Vancouver Island. It used to be West Bay RV Park but closed, changed owners, underwent substantial changes & reopened as Salish Seas. We stayed here in Aug/2020 & enjoyed our stay but for a couple of things. They have removed the gated entrance & every night we were there we had some pretty sketchy cars driving through the park. Also, they used to have a few benches on the harbour front where you could sit & watch the harbour. These have been removed which means that if you can’t get or don’t want to pay the increased price for a harbour front site you have no access to the view. Again, it is a lovely park but for the cost I think a little more security & a little more access to the view would make it more worth the cost.

Thank you for your review and feedback, Diane. The safety of our guests is a priority, and although we no longer have a gated entrance, we have installed numerous security cameras throughout the park with no criminal activity to date.

We found the RV grounds, the location, and the facilities to be perfect for our stay in the Victoria area. The individual sites, with concrete pads and picnic tables, made it easy to park and to hook up our 27’ motorhome. Washrooms, showers and laundry rooms were immaculate. The clubhouse loft area with balconies were an added bonus for socializing with friends. The location, right on the harbour, permitted easy access to downtown via the boardwalk and biking trail. Staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating.
Location can be windy so use of awnings is not recommended.

We have stayed here twice and the views are ok but the place is unfriendly and seems to have bad vibes overall. We watched the fireworks for Canada day on our last trip and some scary random man followed us back to our RV site after and started demanding cigarettes and refused to leave. We tried to explain that none of us smoked and had no cigarettes but he became aggressive. He was obviously drunk or high on drugs and after 30 mins of this impasse (and almost needing to physically remove him) he finally moved on only after threatening my family. I was suspicious of him so I followed behind him to make sure he left the grounds (he was oblivious) and to my surprise he walked straight into the trailer I believe is the camp host trailer! I knocked on the door to confront him and he quickly exited and fled off of the property...one of the strangest experiences we have ever had RVing -and we have lots of experience. I should also note we tried to contact or locate camp staff to assist with the problem - to no avail.

We decided to give the place one more try because it is close to downtown but now they are saying that there is a 4 person max to each site...so if you are a family of 5 you are not welcome. Wow, what a weird place! I don't know of any other RV park with such a ridiculous policy. Suffice to say I think it may be for the best so we can take our business elsewhere. Families be warned...

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention James. We are shocked and saddened to hear you had this experience. We are very surprised that none of our staff or many returning customers were aware of the situation, especially as we are such a small resort. We didn’t have a member of staff living in a trailer at the time so it couldn’t have been a camp host. We introduced the four person per site policy as we are a small park with limited facilities. Please feel free to email reservations@victoriarv.com if you have any further information about the incident which may help us understand what happened.

We have stayed here several times . A month a couple of years ago. This was a quiet park right on the inner harbour most people stayed a few days. Now there are many rental company’s overnighters so a constant stream of in and out. We stayed a week still best location in Victoria.

Close to everything. Walking distance to downtown. However they say no long termers. No trailers on view sites.there were several long termers on the view sites which is actually backwards so they block some of the view. The laundry has two washers and dryers one of which always seemed out of order while we were there for the month of December. Lots of rules about dogs but no one to enforce them. However do not let this stop you one of the best rv parks we have ever stayed in.

Thank you Rob for your review. We are glad to hear you enjoyed the park and the proximity to downtown. We don’t allow long term stays; we do however have monthly guests that stay between the months of November to March only. We have allowed a few returning customers to stay in the waterfront sites who have been staying with us since we opened during the winter months. We experienced plumbing issues in our laundry room during December which subsequently affected the machines causing them to malfunction. The washers and dryers are maintained by an outside source and they experienced delays in getting parts. We apologize for any inconvenience. We pride ourselves on being a pet friendly resort and understand that not everyone plays by the rules. We rely on our guests to communicate any dissatisfaction in that regard to the staff.

We spent five months (October 2022 to April 2023) in this beautiful park that is small enough to feel like home, with a fantastic view of downtown Victoria, a waterfront walking trail that took us to the downtown and all a completely walkable lifestyle with everything we needed within minutes by bike or walking. Perfectly situated with the added convenience of adorable little water taxis to take us anywhere we would wish to go if we were too lazy to walk. The staff is incredible and accommodating. The clubhouse and facilities are gorgeous and the neighbouring marina and float houses made the neighbourhood fun and so interesting. We definitely plan to return!

This RV Park was a delight! It’s close to downtown Victoria, has a gorgeous views right on the ocean. It is lovely and clean. The price is rather high at $95 a night but it is a treat!! Their washroom is large with a great shower and facilities. Not all of the facilities were open due to Covid but it was still a great stay.
