I love this B&B, I really do. I have stayed here 4 or 5 times in the last 8 years. The location is ideal, the rooms are all themed and beautifully kept. It offers log burning fireplaces (stocked with an eco-log each night) and jetted tubs with robes and comfortable beds. The service is great. However I must be completely...

My husband and I stayed here to celebrate our babymoon and we got exactly what we were looking for: relaxation. One of the main reasons we booked this B&B in particular was the jacuzzi, and it definitely did not disappoint. The house is located very close to the city center, though we took our car a lot as the weather...

Within walking distance to downtown. No view, but everything else is done very well. If you want to relax and take a step back in time then you will appreciate what the H.H. has to offer. Service was friendly and very well done! We would go back. We have only stayed in the "Mikado" room. It was quiet, but there...

This place is located only 10 minutes walk from downtown. The hosts are super welcoming and friendly and the breakfast served to the room, was amazing! The house is pretty old and if that smell bothers you, you may want to reconsider this location; however, the rooms are pretty clean! The only downside to this place was that the Jacuzzi...

Just a 10 minute walk from downtown, the sense of quiet luxury was felt throughout our stay. The gourmet breakfasts, served to the room, were worthy of the finest restaurants. The hosts were welcoming and friendly, and the property itself lent to a strong sense of privacy. It was easy to forget anyone else was at the house at all....

We are staying for 2 nights in The Oriental Room. The rooms are clean, spacious, king size bed & we can't wait to get in to the giant soaker jacuzzi tub. We were greeted warmly by the Innkeeper who was a wealth of information regarding restaurants & local sights. Breakfast is served right in your room. Love this place &...

This has an excellent location, close to the harbour, a short walk to Beacon Park and in a quiet road. Our room was quite large but the dark colours make it seem smaller. Bed was Ok but did creak rather a lot and was not as good as some of those we slept in elsewhere. We struggled to close one...

What a great B & B! Room was great. Bed was great. Double whirlpool tub was wonderful, powerful and a little tight. Host was charming. Breakfast of your choice was perfect and served in the room at the time you request! Just a knock on the door to let you know your perfect breakfast is waiting inside the portal to...

Humboldt house is a beautiful older home ideally situated within walking distance of both a huge park and the city (in different directions). We stayed in the Celebration room which had a huge 4 poster bed and spa bath. The room suits the romantic Victorian era. The breakfast were very good and delivered to your room - there is no...

From the canopy bed to the most delicious food you can imagine, Humboldt House has romance. You will even hear horse drawn carriages going up the street in front! And you are within easy walking distance of all the sights and restaurants you could desire. To see Butchart Gardens ( well worth it!!) you need to take a shuttle but...
