Check in was quick. They adjusted the assigned rooms to give myself and friend to be next to each other. Room was clean, bed comfortable. Window air conditioning for your comfort. Enough pillows and blankets. I found the room nice and quiet

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW

Right in the middle of down town Victoria. How many hotels have a wood burning fireplace. Great stay and staff. Will be returning. A great place everything within walking distance. Did I mention how great the staff was.

Thank you for your recent stay. We feel extremely flattered by your kind feedback. It is true the traditional wood burning fireplaces are extinct in hotel suites. We are lucky that we still possess this unique feature due to the age of our hotel. Again, thank you for sharing your experience with us and we look forward to welcoming you...

This older hotel is centrally located and well worth the price. Linens were clean and the bed was comfortable. The shower needs some updating because of older tiles. Brennan at the reception desk was friendly and helpful. Many restaurants nearby. I took the bus from the ferry and got off just one block from the hotel. Room 44 was quiet...

This hotel is close to the harbour and Parliment bldg. we had a small room but for the price it was good and being in that area you won't spend much time in it.. Parking wasn't great but not too far away, lots of pubs and restaurants in the area too. Would recommend.

Room was clean enough but we saw a mouse in the lobby and there was wine splashed on the ceiling of the room, or at least I think it was wine. Staff was very nice. This was fine for a cheap one night stay.

This is a tiny gem located in the midst of Victoria's Old Town. There are all sorts of interesting things to do within easy walking distance. They were welcoming and the room was very nice, with everything we needed for our stay. We arrived early on the Coho Ferry from Port Angeles, Washington and they checked us in and held...

What a great location. A block from the water. Close to everything. Our room was clean, spacious with nice windows, although that did mean a little street noise. Nice staff. The airport shuttle stopped at the hotel. I would definitely stay there again.

The room was large and well equipped. We especially enjoyed the real wood burning fireplace that was ready to light. The over stuffed chairs and comfy bed made this room memorable. Will definitely stay here again. oh and a great location with a very good pub next door.

Staying at the Bedford is like stepping into the past, in a good way. Its quaint and in some spots showing its age but its charm and location more than make up for any shortcomings. Your shower may be odd and difficult to figure out but when you walk outside and you are in the heart of Victoria you'll forget...

“The room, 21, was overlooking Government Street. There are some lively venues nearby, which may bother some people, but my sister and I found it to be charming. I would stay in this room again, and I am looking forward to coming in the summer so I can see the flowers in the window boxes in bloom.”
