My husband & I recently completed our stay, of 2 months, at the Victoria Regent Hotel. We booked a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom suite, which was spacious & clean &
gave us an extraordinary view of the Inner Harbour. This was our 4th winter stay-
ing at the Hotel; we love the convenience of the location & the ability to walk to
so many places, in downtown Victoria, with relative ease.

We continue to find the Front Desk staff, Breakfast Room staff & Housekeeping staff to be very approachable & anxious to respond to any questions/concerns. Particular "kudos" need to be given to Amy, the lead staff person in the Breakfast Room, who is a real sweetheart! She is especially good at attending to everyone's needs & creating a warm & welcoming atmosphere in the Breakfast Area.

I recommend the Hotel if you are looking for an excellent location at a comfort-
able accommodation.

Our recent stay in a 2 bedroom King Suite at the downtown Victoria Regent Hotel, in BC was extremely relaxing and enjoyable. The cost of our stay was very reasonable for such a large, modern, and beautifully appointed suite. Upon initial entrance into the suite, my family thought we were given the wrong room or that our bill could not be right; that's how overwhelmed we were with the size and luxury of this amazing suite, not to mention the 180 degree view of beautiful Victoria inner harbour. The suite was a September Special, costing just over $300 a night and had an added value of a $75 visa gift card. The gorgeous views through the floor to ceiling windows with multiple sliding doors to access the large balcony was outstanding. The suite boasted beautiful modern appointments - floor to ceiling marble fire place, marble counter top modern kitchen with stainless appliances and separate dining room, 2 sitting areas, 2 king bedrooms, 2 bathrooms with waterfall shower head, and laundry utility room. Every room, hallway, entrance way in the suite was very spacious and clean. All 3 TV's with cable worked as it should, and WIFI was fast. Complementary breakfast was not available as far as we new (maybe due to COVID) unless we are mistaken. The pantry was stocked with dry breakfast items but we had plans on trying brunch at several local restaurants anyway. The hotel staff communication with us both via email and in person was excellent; always professional, polite, and accommodating. Due to the central location of the hotel, it was quick and easy walking distance to shopping and many great restaurants. Although parking was limited, we were allowed to keep our car in the secure underground parking throughout the day of check out, in order to facilitate further downtown outings prior to departing the downtown area. Our overall experience was outstanding, as we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, and would strongly recommend this hotel to others; especially when booked during a special rate period.

We’re so happy to hear that you loved your spacious suite and found it to be both affordable and luxurious. You’re right that our breakfast is not currently available due to COVID-19. This Hotel delivered more than what I anticipated. The website looked great and I appreciated it was exactly as it appeared on the website. Our suite had a stunning view, large rooms, and the kitchen was TRULY well equipped. The kitchen was so well appointed, with good quality appliances and kitchen items - we dined in every night. Excellent quality doors and windows so soundproofing was great. This hotel was also spotless, great beds and linens. Staff, from the front desk to the housekeeping team were all professional and polite and welcoming. The location was fabulous for walking to everything downtown - we barely used the car while there. I would definitely stay here again next visit - watching the activity in the Harbour below was a highlight each day.

A wonderful hidden treasure in Victoria. We had a one bedroom suite that was spacious, lovely and had a fabulous view of the inner harbor. Great value, exceptionally clean and cared for. The rooms at the Victoria Regent are a superb value and you can easily walk to anywhere in downtown Victoria. Even the water taxi stops right out your door.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom executive suite. The expansive view of the harbour from the room is wonderful. It is a very spacious unit, and the room was clean. This hotel is in a great location with it’s proximity to dining and attractions.
The free breakfast was small but good, but there was a wait to get in.
We were accidentally charged for items (wine and snacks) that they said we consumed but that were never actually in the room to begin with. The person I initially spoke to was a little accusatory when I said that the items were never in the room to begin with, however the manager corrected the charges without question.
We would stay here again.

The location of the Victoria Regent Waterfront Hotel & Suites is perfect - you can walk in every direction to get to shopping, restaurants, and inner harbour. We left our car parked (secure underground) for 3 days before wanting to drive up-island. There is a small grassy knoll nearby but we had no trouble from the people congregating there. The hotel and rooms are very clean - hand sanitizers at the ready. Ben at the front desk has exceptional customer service. During COVID the breakfast buffet and spa services are not in operation, which was conveyed to us prior to our stay so there was no problem with that. We had a full size kitchen so we were able to make our own meals, or bring food in, and dine on the deck. Loved our stay and will be back!

My sister-in-law and I reserved a 2 bedroom suite. When we arrived we were upgraded to a penthouse which was as big as a 2 bedroom house! Full kitchen, both bedrooms had its own bathroom, sweeping views of the harbor from everywhere, a deck, fireplace, and even a beautifully decorated Christmas tree! It was hard to tear ourselves away to go shopping, sightseeing and dining!

All of the amenities were tastefully and beautifully done. Bathroom floors were heated! The kitchen had everything one might need including a regular coffee maker and coffee (no yucky hotel coffee here!)

And the staff! Just super friendly and helpful at every step. They welcomed us back each day and remembered what adventures we had run off to. The hotel is right in the middle of the shops, restaurants and everything one would want to see downtown.

I can't say enough good things about this hotel. If you are shopping around, stop wasting your time and Stay Here!!!

This is a wonderful place to stay based on the service from the staff, excellent room size and amenities, exceptional views and great location downtown Victoria. The two bed, two bath suite was extremely well laid out with a full kitchen, dining area, 2 full ensuite bathrooms, a roomy living area and lots of closet space. The water view was great and distinguishes this property from many other. Rooms are equipped with large televisions and you can sign in to your favourite streaming service. There are single unit coin laundry/dryer pairs on a few floors. Parking is free for one vehicle and there are luggage carts available. The front entrance is an awkward place to unload as there is a 10 min parking area in front of a bike path. You can also unload in underground parking. You can walk everywhere, including the beautiful waterfront and many restaurants and stores. This hotel is excellent value for families who are sharing with plenty of space. Other nice touches include full retractable door screens. The sound of float planes landing, seagulls and tug boats fill the rooms.

The staff was very helpful and inviting. The view was amazing and the layout of the suite was well thought out. TV sitting area, another living room area with a fireplace and tables and chairs in another area. Plenty of room to stretch out and feel at home. The bedroom was quiet and comfortable. The kitchen had dishes, wine glasses and full size frig which gave you the option to eat a meal in the suite if you wished, or leftovers reheated from that wonderful restaurant that was in walking distance. I would definitely recommend this as a place to stay in Victoria.
