friendly professional staff; great downtown setting, very comfortable bed, liked the sunrise over the city in the morning, and close to the waterfront for an early morning walk past the parliament buildings, good recommendation of wine from the attached store which accompanied the gratuitous delicious cheese and nuts plate; highly recommend a stay here

Very friendly staff, warm welcome on arrival! Love the extras like the complimentary cheese plate and the free coffee and pastry in the morning! Bright, clean spacious room with heated bathroom floor! Might not look like much from the outside but it's a gem on the inside and being right downtown you are close to everything. Food is really good...

Great hotel that's smack dab in the middle of downtown. Great hotel to experience Victoria for the first time. I didn't know this until later in the trip but they do offer bike rentals which is a great way to explore the city. Only a 5 min walk to pretty much anything. It's great to take the road running alone...

My husband and I stayed for two nights at this very comfortable hotel, located within walking distance to many of Victoria's sights. We were first given a large room overlooking Douglas Street, which is very noisy. We asked, and the very pleasant and helpful young man at the front desk moved us to a much smaller room, overlooking a quiet...

I stayed at the Hotel Rialto for the first time this past weekend and was very impressed. Right from check-in all the way through our stay the service was excellent. Room was clean and comfortable with all the amenities you would expect. Food in the restaurant was also quite good and they have a nice happy hour in the bar.

Initially I thought if the Rialto because if its proximity to the function we were going to that evening but it was definitely a part of the experience. From the amazing Mac and chesse made by Chef Tod in the tapas lounge to the luxurious king size bed. Will certainly be staying here again when we have functions in Victoria.

The Hotel Rialto is an excellent boutique hotel in a grand heritage building in downtown Victoria. It was refreshing change from the chain hotels and their standard and boring lodging choices. The room had many quality features that made me feel at home. I especially liked the heated bathroom floor as well as the uber comfortable king sized bed. I...

I love this place and can't wait to come back. Clean, nicely decorated boutique hotel right downtown. I also love that it's super green. Staff were friendly, attentive and helpful. The only thing I didn't like was the coffee at the Cafe.. I'm a coffee lover and don't mind strong but it is a roast that is more acidic and...

We stayed as it was close to the retirement party venue. So---pleasantly surprised to find a European style, well managed hotel, close to the harbour, not noisy. Staff listened to our request for a quiet room, and it WAS. But we could open the windows of the smallish room overnight and the decor was comfortably elegant. My husband, who is...

I was so happy with this hotel! Stayed for 2 nights on a 4th floor room and took advantage of the free cheese platter and breakfast. Clean, modern, central. Easy, cheap parking in the parkade by City Hall. Would definitely stay here again!!
