We enjoyed two marvelous days at the Haterleigh Heritage Inn. The breakfasts were delicious and beatifully presented. Paul provided all the information we needed on what to do and see. His recommendations for lunch and dinner were faultless. Our room, "Roses and Lace", was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. The bathroom was great with a big tub for soaking after...

The Heterleigh Heritage Inn is a house that was built in the early 1900s and was moved to the present location. It had a checkered past until it was restored and made into a bed and breakfast. In the restoration many fantastic leaded glass windows were used. The décor is outstanding using many antique pieces. The rooms are very well...

Had a wonderful time. Charming hosts and such an elegant atmosphere. Breakfasts are to die for. Stayed for four nights and it wasn't nearly long enough. Am so glad we chose this B&B over a hotel. If you want to truely experiance the charm of Victoria, start here.

My wife Margaret and I arrived by boat in Victoria this last weekend. After a short stroll from the docks, we were pleasantly surprised by the truly delightful Paul, Elizabeth and the Haterleigh Inn. Paul and Elizabeth steered us toward a really great sushi resturant and we returned later in the evening to enjoy sitting in the parlor with a...

What's not to like? A beautifully restored and impeccably maintained house that is also a warm and welcoming home, and friendly, engaging and accommodating hosts. The weather was cold and sleety/snowy when we were there (mid-January 2005) and it was such a treat to get "home" to our cozy room after tromping all over town! Paul and Elizabeth are wonderful...

What a gem! Only two blocks from the ferry docks and a short, pleasant walk to downtown. The hosts, Paul and Elizabeth, were delightful, and the sumptuous breakfasts were a treat. The menus and recommendations for local restaurants were a real plus -- every recommendation was spot on (especially the Blue Crab for seafood). Our room was spacious and comfortable,...
