What a wonderful place! Loved the history of the house, the art, the staff. The daily breakfast was the most wonderful start of the day and everyday was different and very tasty. Every evening tea and sweets and a small sherry after 6. Well deserved 5 stars. You will not be disappointed.

Beautiful accommodation, but service is not 5 star and food is fair. We much prefer Abigail's for the price. We would not recommend this B&B and my husband and I have stayed at many on Vancouver Island. Very disappointing.

This was my second time staying at the Beaconsfield Inn. I chose to this property to celebrate my 49th birthday with my husband (who'd never been here). If you are celebrating a special occasion, or simply are worthy of a treat, this should be your choice in the heart of Victoria. We were assigned the Emily Carr room, which was...

We stayed in the Gatekeeper's suite, which has its own entrance from ground level. This is great if you have bikes, because you can easily get them inside and park them on the tile floor. The suite is large; it has a king, a small sitting area (the tile floor) and two doubles in a separate room. The interior of...

The girlfriend and I were wrapping up a nice Pacific NW trip to Victoria and to make the final night special I booked this inn a couple months back. Did not know there were new owners .... Anyway, the place is similar to much of Victoria in that it was an early 1900's house with all the furnishings of the...

We experience wonderful service from the time we made reservations till the time we checked out. Included would be wonderful fresh fruit at breakfast, tasty snacks in the afternoon, hot water and coffee available throughout the day and quiet. We were within easy walking distance to Beacon Park, tourist attractions and restaurants. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

This B&B was very charming. It has a nice common area where they serve nightly sherry (which was quite good) and a light eating area. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. The only negative is the breakfast. We felt it was unnecessarily long (three courses - first was a glass of fruit, then a way too buttery...

We have been to many hotels but this being our first bed and breakfast it was worth the visit. We came straight from the plane and the young lady welcomed us with a smile and a tour of the home. She asked if we had eaten yet and proceeded to offer her ideas for food, pub locations and where to...

Maybe we were prejudiced by the beautiful spring weather, but the Beaconsfield Inn was just perfect. Our room was large and comfortable. There was a book on the desk by a novelist from our home state (perhaps a coincidence, but I wouldn't assume that). The bathroom had candles on the ledge of the jacuzzi tub. We didn't have a chance...
