Had a wonderful time and enjoyed the lodge and staff. The owners and staff work very hard to make guests comfortable and happy. The fishing and especially the float trip down the river was spectacular. The boats and equipment could use a little TLC.

The lodging, food, and fishing were top notch. The family/owners, guides, and staff made you feel like you were cherished family members. The fishing was beyond my bucket list fantasy. Can't wait to return to the beautiful location and people.

I visited Blackfish with friends. I am not a fisherman but always wanted to salmon fish. A fellow traveler I met in Peru highly recommended it so we went. The lodge has WIFI, but beyond that, it is pretty much off the grid. It is accessible only by boat or float plane. All you have to do is get Seattle...

If you don't like to fish, being int the company of great operators and staff, have really good food and more I would suggest you pass on Blackfish Lodge. But if you do, GO! They said the fishing was slow, but we caught plenty of King salmon, some coho and halibut and a few rockfish. We didn't have time to...

The best fishing lodge you could ask for, The guides were top of the line, they know what they were doing. I have been fishing my whole life and in places all over the world but by far this was the best of them all. Meals were the best, Hanna should put out a cook book. The staff looked after you...

I hadn't been in many years but made a return trip with my wife. There were lots of upgrades at the Lodge, many originating from Hanna's mind I reckon. Always a lovely time to visit the Broughton Archioelago and visit with Chris. Beautiful waters, great guiding and a memorable experience are what is so special about Blackfish Lodge.

We hit a tough patch of fishing ...... a lot of people were catching very little, but we ended up with a spectacular season with salmon, HALIBUT, and a memorable river catch/release experience. But on top of that were the splendid meals and company. Chris and Hannah, the owners, really know what they are doing. Don't miss an opportunity to...

I've written about Blackfish before but suffice it to say that, after fishing in BC and Alaska for over 35 years, Blackfish is the only lodge I'll go to for quality fishing, outstanding accommodations and meals, and a place that makes you feel like one of the family.
