There is a reason this hotel was highly rated by Condé Nast! The staff was courteous and helpful. The Loden offers guests their own personal cab for drop offs downtown. Although this hotel is situated downtown, it was in a quiet residential area & there were no complaints of noise. They offer a "pillow menu" based on your preference. My...

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW

My husband and I traveled to Vancouver for a fun weekend. The staff at The Loden Hotel couldn't have been more accommodating. When we checked in they asked the name of our dog and every employee from then on knew her name and greeted her when we came downstairs. The front desk staff were so professional and helpful. The doorman/valet...

Excellent 5 nights at The Loden! The hotel staff are incredible - very knowledgeable, helpful, friendly, and approachable. I stayed in a Signature Corner room. It was lovely from the soaker tub, floor to ceiling windows, comfy bed, and peace and quiet. I never heard anyone in the hall or doors closing. The cleaning staff were like little elves. The...

Ive stayed at the Loden several times over the past 5 years and have always enjoyed my visit. It's in a great location and is quiet and the rooms are clean and nicely furnished and generally the front desk staff are lovely. The two things i hadn't tried are the gym and in room dinning. With so many eateries scattered...

Nicely appointed boutique hotel close to features on Vancouver incl Stanley Park, Gastown, harbourfront, Canada Place. Love the zen feeling, comfortable beds for a great sleep and room was dark at night. Nice amenties, and loved the little cards with mindful sayings, helps set the tone for the day. Liked the layout of the room with sliding panel, well lit,...

The Loden Hotel is one of those well kept secrets in Vancouver. It's a pleasure to stay there. Quiet, central to all our activities and the little restaurant was a wonderful surprise. The Food was tasty, fresh and service was outstanding.

You guys rock! I was so impressed with everything in your hotel. The room was great but it was the service that really made the stay special for us. Everyone in the hotel was soooo nice and helpful. From Tiago and the car shuttle service, to David at check-in, the nice bartenders and waiters in the restaurant and everyone in-between,...

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
