Can't say that enough good things about this hotel. It has set a high bar for any other hotel I stay at to measure up to.

Pros:
The room was really great; loved the large bathroom, big deep bathtub, and super comfy bed.

The hotel location can't be beat: nice, quiet, upscale feeling neighbourhood but it's still super close to everything. We were downtown for a concert at BC Place and it was a very quick walk (maybe a block) from the hotel to the Burrard skytrain station which made getting across town quick and easy.

When we got back to the room afterwards there were little cookies and chocolates waiting for us with a nice thank you note AND a pitcher of water with lemon and ice on the nightstand. The water was exactly what I needed at that moment so it was perfect.

Cons:

The only complaint is that check in is 3pm but our room wasn't ready until like 3:25pm. Normally it wouldn't have mattered but the concert started at 430pm and it would have been nice to have the extra time to get ready and relax before we headed out. That's kind of on me though, I should have called ahead and requested an early check in time so they knew we had plans early in the evening. The room we had was worth the wait though, it even had a partial ocean view.

I'd definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

From the moment I was greeted until the moment I left, my time at The Loden was amazing. The quality of my room was top notch and the little attentions, like little snacks, sparkling water or lime and cucumber water at night were a nice surprise. The room I was in was spacious, clean and had an amazing view of the city and the mountains. The employees were all smiles and wanted to make my time there great. If I'm ever back in Vancouver, The Loden will be my choice!

The Loden Hotel is a hidden gem in Vancouver. We celebrated our 5 year anniversary there and are excited to spend another few nights there again. Upon arriving at the Loden, we were greeted by the most friendly staff. In fact, the staff went out of their way to help out with anything we needed including verifying food items for allergies. The standard hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes were available upon entering. We were surprised to find out that we were upgraded to a 1 bedroom corner suite with a mountain and water view. The staff were kind enough to leave us a note with a bottle of sparkling wine. The suite had ample room with a formal dining table, large living room with big screen TV and ample space to move around. For coffee lovers, the Nespresso machine makes for a great time. For the discerning customer, you can count on the Egyptian cotton sheets and feather pillows to make for a peaceful sleep.

The restaurant attached to the Loden was undergoing renovations so we didn't have a chance to eat there. In the mornings, staff would provide continental breakfast from a popular coffee shop down the street (Parallel 49). There are numerous restaurants close by so we didn't find it to be much of a bother.

We had the pleasure of spending 4 nights at the Loden during Thanksgiving and can’t wait to be back again. Even before arrival, David and Silvia reached out to see if we needed any special requests and arranged our dinner reservations and gave us many options as to what tours would be available. Rooms were beautiful and spacious with high end amenities and a welcome note accompanied by a bottle of wine and other treats for my son and I. Stanislav and Adrian were always there to welcome us back each day, even with a cake one morning on my son’s birthday and breakfast every morning which were always fresh and delicious! The location is central to shopping, many dining options, and Stanley Park where we used the hotel’s complimentary bikes. But what made this hotel so enjoyable was the warm and caring staff. In all my years of travelling, this was by far the best experience I’ve ever had!

We just got home from a weekend stay at the Loden, and we cannot get over how amazing the service was. We've stayed here several times before, and have always loved the modern rooms, deep soaker tubs, super comfortable beds, thick towels, and friendly staff, but the service especially this time was hands-down the best we've ever experienced. From David and Stanislav at the front desk being so attentive and helpful with all the little details, to Leah and Quinn at Tableau providing exceptional service; they all made our local staycation an absolutely wonderful experience. Our room was beautifully clean and comfortable, and the food at Tableau (via their outdoor patio with heaters, or room service in bed) is comfort-food at its best. If you're needing a local getaway right now (or whenever!) this is the place. Thanks to all the staff for such a wonderful job well done. We're looking forward to staying at the Loden again...it's easily become our favourite Vancouver hotel.

Really enjoyed this hotel, stayed here as a stay-cation to do a late celebration for my wife's birthday. The staff were all excellent and really nice. They wrote a nice card for my wife and gave us a free bottle of champagne. All the people we talked to were extremely helpful, I forgot to ask the names of everyone we talked to (sorry to the hotel staff), only got the names of Jessie and Dmitrii. But regardless all of them were great. They accommodated all our requests prior to arriving, Dmitrii handled all our requests prior to arriving and Jessie wrote us the nice card in our room.

There was a hiccup at checkout in that the hotel restaurant accidentally double charged us for our lunch the previous day but the front desk staff quickly sorted this out with the restaurant and fixed everything. The rooms and the bathroom were really nice and clean too. Also got to use the complimentary car service and had them drop us off to lunch after we checked out.

Overall, we loved staying here, would definitely recommend to others and would come back :)

We stayed at Loden for 4 nights in March 2020 when we were moving to Vancouver and waiting for our permanent lease to start.

Hotel staff is welcoming and always ready to go the extra mile to make you feel relaxed and to help you enjoy your stay and the city of Vancouver.

Many thanks to the hotel manager Irina, to Silvia, Stanislav and others. You made our first days in Vancouver enjoyable and comfortable in this challenging times!

We felt taken care of although the hotel wasn't able to offer all the spectrum of their services due to pandemic. e.g. the restaurant was closed so the staff prepared an elaborate list of good local restaurants with delivery and takeout options the very same day we arrived.
They swiftly brought everything we needed to our door each time we asked: deliveries from restaurants, water, tea and coffee etc.

The hotel took all the actions to make sure we're safe during our stay.

We would definitely stay at Loden again and recommend it to our friends after this global disaster is over.

Evgeniia and Dmitrii

Every stay here has been a pleasure. The staff is unusually friendly the rooms are great, and there are a number of nice touches that are not found at other comparable hotels. I found the King bed mattress a bit soft and possibly a bit worn (low spots) resulting in mild backache the next morning. The corporate rate provides for excellent value for money. The attached restaurant (Tableau) is also good with similarly friendly staff but they got the price for one item rather significantly wrong in the bill (quickly corrected)

I recently spent three nights at the Loden Hotel and could not have been more impressed. The room was spotless, spacious and really nicely appointed. They've thought of all the little touches you would expect in a premium hotel including umbrellas, slippers, robes and a lovely welcome gift. All of the finishings were very high end as were the toiletries and other niceties in the room. As an example, the hair dryer was one of the premium Dyson models that I've never seen in a hotel room before.

What made the stay most memorable though was the Staff. From the minute you walk through the door you're welcome like an old friend or family member. The service is attentive without being over bearing and everyone you encounter really makes you feel as if they're really happy you're staying at their hotel.

The location is absolutely fantastic. You're within walking distance of major shopping areas, great restaurants, Stanley Park and the Seawall. I could not recommend this hotel more highly. There are some fantastic hotels in Vancouver and this is absolutely one of the top options out there.

To say that our January 6-9, 2022 stay at The Loden was amazing would be an understatement.
My wife and I made the decision to stay at The Loden after searching online and then calling our top 3 of Vancouver's premier, boutique, 5 star hotels. The purpose of our stay was to celebrate our honeymoon after getting married on NYE!! My wife was hoping for a cabin in the woods. I was hoping for a bit of city life. We settled on a comfortable suite at a boutique hotel where we could relax, hang out, order in, and not be too secluded from various amenities.
Stanislav secured our stay on the phone with his very friendly delivery and genuine excitedness after hearing the reason for our stay.
Upon checkin, we were greated very warmly by David and Laura, were swept up to our 14th floor suite, and were surprised to find a bottle of bubbly, some macarons and a kind note from Irina, the GM.
The suite was lovely and warm. The bathroom: amazing, with its heated, black marble floors; the walls: wood accented and tastefully decorated; the bed and pillows: comfortable, with the option to choose from The Lodens pillow menu (a great touch to make us feel the full 5 star setting of this lovely hotel).
Any time we called down, we were greeted warmly. Any time we walked by the front desk, we were called by name and were always made to feel special. Every day, we looked forward to turndown service with  cold lemon water and fruit. Everyone was just so kind - we felt that all the staff were genuinely trying their best and going the extra mile to provide amazing service, help us make great memories, and be a part of our story.
Bonus: the restaurant (Tableau Bar Bistro) served fantastic breakfast and dinner...try the steak (ya, it was a bit expensive,  but it was fantastic!).
We really lucked out here - or we just found one of those secret spots where you can stay in downtown Vancouver and feel like you're able to hunker down (like in a cabin) or go out and enjoy the food and culture that comes with being in a major city.
Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable and memorable, Stanislav, Laura, David and Irina! We'll be back!

The hotel was more than happy to accommodate an early check in by storing our bags, arranging dinner reservations, giving us free use of their bikes for a trip through stanley park and loads of suggestions on attractions. We returned mid afternoon to find our bags up in our room! Couldn’t be nicer.

There is a valet and a charge for parking. However, we had a choice with our room for complimentary parking or $ toward breakfast each day. This was true for all of our rooms.
