The folks at Granville House have thought of everything to make you feel completely pampered. The breakfasts were delicious, the advice on local restaurants very helpful. If I make it back to Vancouver, I would definintely stay here again!

We stayed at this B & B for 4 nights and had a very comfortable stay. We had the Elm Suite which is situated on the ground floor at the front of the house, It comprises a king size bed, comfortable sofa and flat screen TV. Be aware though that the TV is wall hung and opposite the bed and...

Thank you for the review, we appreciate it! We do indeed provide the hot water for tea in our breakfast area. Our guests can access this at any time of day or night. We have a large hot water dispenser that is kept at 208 degrees, with the touch of a button it is brought up to 212 degrees (boiling)...

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Granville House. Randy and Pam, the owners, are friendly and attentive. They gave us excellent information regarding restaurants. The rooms are elegant, with very comfortable beds. We give it our highest recommendation.

The Granville House was a terrific place to call home during our brief weekend in Vancouver BC. We were warmly welcomed by Randy and he provided lots of ideas for scenery and food (all of which were right on!). Additionally the room was everything advertised and really quite comfortable with first rate amenities. Breakfasts were hearty and tasty and the...

Very nice place to stay. Neat, clean and nice ambience. Location is perfect between the airport and the city centre. Good breakfast with a lot of choice. Our host Randy was very friendly and told us a lot about the things to do in Canada. Perfect start off our vacation.

We enjoyed staying at Granville House B&B - excellent service, well appointed and yummy breakfasts even to suit dietary restrictions. Pam is a friendly and helpful hostess, great suggestions and tips for things to do and restaurants around Granville & Vancouver. Loved the comfy king size bed!

The B&B was within our budget (very reasonable price), and perhaps because it is not downtown. We decided to walk our first day in the city instead of taking the bus. About 20 minutes later on foot, we stumbled upon South Granville, a neighborhood that is absolutely bustling with cute shops and delicious restaurants. I'm guessing that if we had...

We stayed in the Dogwood suite and it was just like staying in a 5 star hotel. The room was amazing with a super comfy bed and a great bathroom with lots of extras. Breakfasts were really imaginative with a different 'special' everyday, prepared by Randy and Pam. We especially liked the 'dutch babies'!!! Randy gave us some great tips...

We stayed with Randy and Pam for 3 nights as our 1st port of call for a 2 week trip round BC. We couldnt have asked for better hosts. Check in was easy as completely flexible which removed the worry of delays etc. Room was extremely comfortable, the toiletries and robes were very welcome after a long flight. We used...

The 'Elm ' room was spacious with a well-appointed bathroom and ample closet space. The wall-mounted television was perfect and there is free WIFI on the property (make sure that you ask for code.) This room fronts to Granville, which is generally busy, but the dual-pane windows and extra insulation in the walls reduced any outside noise to a whisper....

Staying in Shaughnessy

Neighbourhood Profile
Residential neighbourhood to the ultra-wealthy, the gorgeous manor houses centred around The Crescent area are a fabled sight to behold. Shaughnessy is Vancouver's most verdant plotted neighbourhood, and its tree-lined streets, walking routes, bike trails, and charming public parks make for an ideal location to spend and afternoon communing with nature. Consequently, it is also the botanical centre of the city, featuring conservatories and an expansive Botanical Garden, taming and sculpting the wild into seasonal viewing areas and enchanting landscapes. Quiet, elegant Shaughnessy excels at providing the Three Gs: Gardens, Golfing, and Galleries.
