The room smelt damp & musty so we had to sleep with our windows open which in turn made it very noisy. The carpets are dirty up the stairs so doesn't set a very good impression. We left the sign on our door for a maid to tidy the room whilst we were out. Upon return the rubbish was still...

Great location on Robson Street, friendly staff, spacious room and clean. We stayed 2 nights, and we were very satisfied. That said, there are some drawbacks: no elevator (which we knew going in and doesn't bother us), no air conditioner (not an issue in April), single-pane windows (which makes for a noisy room, even on the 3rd floor). Still a...

We booked this hotel last minute due to an unexpected visit to Vancouver, and we were absolutely amazed at the size of the room we got. It has a full kitchen (missing a few utilities). It is a bit older, but relatively clean. The location is phenomenal, and the staff very friendly. We would definitely be staying at the Greenbreir...

Very Flexible, Affordable at the center of the Downtown. Maager Harry, is the right person to talk and get the deal. Refer him as Pradeep's Friend for attractive deal. This place is very convenient to walk to downtown and other restaurants.

Luckily our room didn't overlook Robson St. and was very spacious and quiet. Great breakfast restaurant right across the street. However our friend's room was on the street and the noise was so loud and annoying they didn't sleep at all for 2 nights. There is no elevator which was a disadvantage for a 65 yr old woman with a...

Booking a suite, I was enticed by an offered kitchenette. Oops! The «kitchenette» lacks even the basic equipment like microwave, there was nothing to cook in or on! After asking at the front desk we’ve got the rusty frying pan and dirty cooking pot, both totally unfit for use. Furthermore, the phrase «One of our bestsellers in Vancouver!» on booking.com...

The Greenbrier is dingy, it just has a rundown, cheap, smelly way about it. The bath had no plug, the room not even a spoon in the kitchen. A smell of mould meant spraying my perfume everywhere. The bedroom with no window. Thin awful bedding. After three weeks of air b and b it was a real come down. And...

Really comfortable and spacious room. Actually the room was a nice apartment, with living room and kitchen: superb! Great cleanliness and very quiet hotel, even if I stayed in a room at ground floor. All staff was fantastic. Not expensive.

It's in a good location close to stanley park, lots of restaurants, supermarket & public transport. Good price especially as Vancouver is a bit expensive generally. The staff are lovely. Interesting things to watch out for: * no lift, but that is stated in booking info * wifi leaves a lot to be desired * although the room has kitchenette...

Staying in Robson Street

Neighbourhood Profile
Robson Street
Robson Street is a shopper's paradise. Whether a window shopper or a serious trendsetter, a fashionista or a dabbler, the crowd of independent boutiques, quirky one-off shops, and well-known luxury brands on Robson Street have something to cater for every itch in your wallet. As a result, it draws a diverse crowd, and the people-watching along this famous walking thoroughfare is a primary attraction. In between the clothing shops both high-street and budget-friendly are a number of cafes to lay down your load, as well as numerous specialty stores ranging in their wares from music, to art, to city souvenirs. Known as "Vancouver's Runway," if a new trend is on the rise, you'd spot it here first.
