When we need to be in Vancouver, The Opus is a clear choice, located in trendy Yaletown, and close to restaurants, shops & entertainment . Make sure to check out the Executive Suite, it's awesome. We found the staff very helpful, and attentive.

Have never stayed at a "Boutique Hotel" before but I am sure glad we did! Staff, room, and ambience was fantastic. Everything was there that we needed including small things like an umbrella (not that is ever rains in Vancouver). Yaletown is the perfect location for strolling along and finding an abundance of many fine or casual dinning plus other...

Dear Bremma946, Thank you very much for choosing to stay with OPUS, and for then taking the time to send in your feedback. We were delighted to hear how much you enjoyed your first boutique hotel experience! Hopefully the concert at Rogers Arena that you went to that evening was just as good. Thank you again for your comments, and...

As a platinum Starwood member I was always staying at multiple other properties in Vancouver til I discovered the Opus, great rooms, comfy beds, good amenities, located in hip Yaletown within a few steps to the train from the airport. Ultra convenience with style around every corner. Especially liked the BMW car service when available and the hospitality of all the...

I've stayed here a few times over the years. It's a cool, boutique hotel and they treat you very well. While the atmosphere is upscale (with the occasional celebrity sighting), you can still walk through the lobby in your yoga pants without drawing any uppity stares. The surrounding blocks get you pricey food, shopping and yacht parking. The Opus restaurant...

We stayed there in early October (4 night stay) and just loved it. The room (we stayed in a courtside deluxe room) was very spacious with a fireplace and a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was also really nice and I just loved the simple design of it. A nice extra touch was also that we had bathtub + a...

We couldn´t have had a better stay in Vancouver. Very nice room and the best of service. As we went for several hockeygames the location was great. Walking distance both to arena and to city center. Also, bicycles free of use, we loved it. We will definately come back to Opus next time in Van. Mia lack.

Dear Jheanelle J, Thank you very much for choosing OPUS and for posting your feedback. We loved seeing how you described the staff as "super friendly", and will ensure that your comments are shared with them! Interestingly enough, the Eggs Benedict that you mentioned continues to be our best seller for breakfast since opening our new restaurant, La Pentola. Thank...

I've stayed at this hotel 3 times now and they have great staff! The location is great for the Entertainment district or shopping. The hotel is trendy and one of my favorites in Vancouver. There is a great Italian restaurant for dinner too.

This was a great hotel! Right when we walked in someone was there to greet us. They offered water champagne, and they offered to book us dinner at any restaurant. The location is great, around lots of great restaurants, shops, and it was near the seawall. Our rooms were great and very clean. The cleaning ladies always left a little...

Staying in Yaletown & False Creek North

Neighbourhood Profile
Yaletown & False Creek North
Yaletown has risen from the ashes of its rough-and-tumble industrial past into one of Vancouver's new chicest neighbourhoods. The place responsible for originating of the phrase 'skid row' might not call to mind independently-owned boutiques and terraced cafes, but having swallowed the waterfront lines of False Creek North, the resulting amalgamation transformed the area into an elegant, stylish hotspot with a view. Its youthful vibe owes to the many young families and young professionals who live there, bolstering nightlife and restaurant variety along its cobbled streets. It is the flagship neighbourhood for modern revitalization, and the It-Spot for boutique hotels and modish eats.
