So close to the sea wall, near to great shopping, beautiful, comfortable rooms and such pleasant staff. I always enjoy the OPUS. It's an added bonus to be right at the Canada Line Yaletown stations. Easy access to and from the airport.

The Opus was the perfect place for me and my partner to stay while we were visiting Vancouver. It is in Yaletown which is a great location for getting around to all the areas we wanted to explore. The hotel has so many amenities that put it over the top for us.....like free parking with a hybrid car, free bikes...

Many things make this hotel your best choice for a "fall-in-love-with-Vancouver" experience. The hotel is a work of art done with a perfect palette of modern colors. The concierge service is the best I have ever experienced----and I am a globetrotter who has travelled for over 50 years. They have more than enough of a staff so you never have...

My wife and I celebrated our 28th anniversary close to home and stayed in town in order to take in a Vancouver Canucks game. Our 2 nights at Opus was a highlight. We were treated to a complimentary bottle of wine and bowls of snacks with a gracious card of congratulations for our anniversary - much thanks! The staff were...

I loved this wonderful hotel. The staff were simply outstanding from the moment I stepped out of my taxi until I departed the next morning. Great location, rooms are very nice, especially loved the shower but the staff are just top drawer. Your wish or need is their command.

We arrived very tired after a long flight and were greeted at the front desk by friendly staff and offered a glass of sparkling wine while we checked in. We were then told we had been upgraded to a suite. The suite was gorgeous. Decorated in bright colours with every modern amenity: an iPad for use during our stay -...

Travelled to Vancouver on business and spent 3 nights in the Opus hotel. I found the front desk staff very friendly and helpful from the moment I arrived. The hotel is in Yaletown and is only 2 blocks from the seawall. As a runner, it was great to be able to get up in the morning and run along False...

I have stayed more than a dozen times at the Opus and everytime seems to be like my first ( in a good way) always inspired. The attention to detail by the staff is impressive to say the least. I value their willingness to create an environment that is most comfortable, luxurious and minus the attitude that usually comes with...

Great location especially now that the canada line station is right across the street. Friendly and attentive staff. My room rate included continental breakfast, which was a nice plus. Good value for the money!

Staying in Yaletown & False Creek North

Neighbourhood Profile
Yaletown & False Creek North
Yaletown has risen from the ashes of its rough-and-tumble industrial past into one of Vancouver's new chicest neighbourhoods. The place responsible for originating of the phrase 'skid row' might not call to mind independently-owned boutiques and terraced cafes, but having swallowed the waterfront lines of False Creek North, the resulting amalgamation transformed the area into an elegant, stylish hotspot with a view. Its youthful vibe owes to the many young families and young professionals who live there, bolstering nightlife and restaurant variety along its cobbled streets. It is the flagship neighbourhood for modern revitalization, and the It-Spot for boutique hotels and modish eats.

“Liked the recycling bin.. if it's actually sent for recycling. Would have liked to be able to tell housekeeping they didn't have to change my linens and towels every day. Every little bit helps! You should get a sustainability expert to direct you on much more sustainable practices... or a marketing person that toots your horn! ”
