I slept very well on a snug firm mattress with firm and soft pillows. The room was nicely decorated and they provided robes for petite bodies. It was equally great to wake to a gorgeous city day and then return at night and fall asleep under the dazzling lights of their nighttime view. We were very impressed. The morning buffet was perfect: waffles with berries, bacon, eggs, potatoes, fruits, cereals, flavorful coffee and an array of juices.
Cons
I was disappointed that the vending machine noted the snack cost at $2 but once I put in the requested amount I received a message noting it was $3 I could not get my money back so I put in the additional dollar. Also the bathroom needs work. The bathroom is fine for a motel but if they are going to use the name Executive Hotel and have such a lovely inviting entrance they need to pay more attention to the bathroom. My friend did not notice what I noticed because she showers while I prefer a bath. While soaking I noticed the toilet wasn't properly cleaned, the peeling wallpaper, and a neglected air vent filled with dust pillows.

There are a lot of perks to this hotel. Super nice staff, high-speed free wifi, a driver on-site who will drive you to places downtown without payment (tips are accepted), and nice spacious rooms. My room had an oversized tub with jets (hot-tub style) in the bathroom, which was exceptionally welcome after a long day of walking through the Vancouver Convention Centre. The driver, Albert, was so sweet and lovely to talk with, and when he drove me to the convention center, he also gave me some tips & advice on local stores & restaurants.

Downsides to the hotel? Yeah, it could use some spring cleaning/sprucing up. They could update some paint, carpeting, etc. But everything was clean, the staff was excellent, it was in a great location, and everything I asked, the staff was happy to help with. I would stay here again. :)

We were genuinely surprised by the nicer touches at this unpretentious property. Very friendly courteous service, paid parking but no additional charge for valet service, a national newspaper at the door every morning and a complimentary wine tasting happy hour in the afternoon - although we understand this has since been discontinued. Combine this with a fabulous downtown location with ready access to all the amenities of downtown and easy access as well to the Granville Island water taxi. And a remarkable price. We’re staying here again when we return to Vancouver in March.

Nice hotel and good location. Quick walk to the entertainment district on Granville street, as well as easy walk to restaurants, coffee and convenient stores. The room we had was a little small and the heating fan was quite loud but otherwise the decor is nice and comfortable and the room was very clean. It was very convenient for our quick getaway

I am currently staying at this hotel due to the govt. mandated quarantine and it has been a terrible stay so far.

As part of this stay, the meals are included but they won't specify the type of meals they will be provided (just veg or non-veg). Well, what passes for meals here is a salad (atleast for vegetarians) and I am being left off to provide for my own meals now.
The guest service desk actually hung up on me when I raised an enquiry.

In addition, they don't provide the basic toiletries like toothbrush or toothpaste.

The treatment here seems to be like a second class citizen and needless to say, I will never be returning here.

When arriving we had a very friendly young lady who was able to get us into our room early. During Covid times we understood that there was no food service but entering our room, not only was it still dirty, there was no coffee machine (Keurig) as stated on line. We did have ceramic mugs and glasses in our room though. 🤔 We called down to let front desk know and once again she was very nice and apologetic but didn’t really know why there was no coffee machine. Very surprised to have mugs during Covid instead of plastic/paper throw aways.
We were told the hotel decided to take all the machines out yet there wasn’t any in the lobby either which we found very strange. Most hotels have not removed their coffee machines......
Also, there was a clanking noise all night I’m assuming due to the construction to which we were told that there were no other complaints regarding that. A different front desk person checking out (male) and not very friendly. We told him exactly where in the room the noise was and how loud it was. Didn’t bother to call during the night as they told us there was only allowed 50% capacity and they were full. Stupid on our part for sure. Definitely not worth what we paid.
It’s an older hotel but clean. Disappointed about having nothing open food/drink wise. Not even our own coffee machine (which we still wonder why that was) and our bed unmade with dirty sheets and no one in there cleaning. I’m sure a miscommunication to which we were moved to another room right away from the friendly girl.
Our son and his friends rent one of the apartments in the building which is very nice but not sure if we’ll stay again in the hotel when visiting him.

The Executive Hotel Vintage Park (EHVP) is very conveniently located near great restaurants on Davie Street and surrounding area, Kitsalano shopping and Granville Island. It is also a quick cab, Uber or public transit ride to /from businesses in downtown Vancouver or West Vancouver. There are also nice meeting rooms onsite if you want to hold your event or meetings there.

One of my favourite parts of visiting is the Wine Tasting every evening from 5 - 6 pm in the lobby. Weather permitting, the patio is opened and guests can flow out into the open air patio directly from the lobby.

There is a small exercise room and a rooftop patio which is lovely. Room amenities are good, including proper wine glasses! :-)

Staff are professional, helpful and friendly. Convenient parking onsite. I enjoy staying here whether travelling for work or with family.

My one recommendation is that they have recycling bins in the rooms.

I had stayed in this hotel a few years ago, and the experience was wonderful. Unfortunately, not so much this time. We arrived to be told that there would be no wine reception as they had not received their delivery on time. However, the next evening was the same. The hotel room had obviously had some upgrades to the bathroom, yet walls had not been patched prior to painting - just painted over the defects. The doors were also in need of painting. The bathroom had no place for wet towels to be hung. On the second morning, we awoke to find that there was no hot water. As we had dinner and theatre reservations that evening, we had to find a hairdresser in order to get our hair done. Altogether, this stay was very disappointing.
The location of the hotel, if you are wanting to visit Granville Island, is good. Otherwise it is a bit far from the downtown core. The hotel does have a shuttle service, though, and this was the one highlight of our stay. The driver, Albert, is a gem. He was so friendly and helpful.

We stayed at this hotel 15 years ago, which we rated 4 stars then, and relied on this past experience to return for three nights. It was a mistake! Hotel was dirty, unkept and staff showed no interest.

Our room had a frugal facelift consisting of a fluorescent green wall paint which is now marred at many places, a simulated wood vinyl flooring that felt spongy. Minimalist room to cut expenses, not even a pen or note pad, no directory or room guide. Had a room safe that was placed six feet high on a wire shelf in the closet; must have 7 ft guests only! We felt like we stayed in a youth hostel!
