The Hotel In A Nutshell... *Amazing location. A 5 minute walk to the harbour, exhibition centre and it's eateries and bars. Right next to a nice pub as well, The Bull's Something or other... * It smelt of old people. * It needs updating. It's stuck in the days of bananarama and Bros. * It's not dirty per say, the...

The only thing good about the hotel was the location, though the staff were friendly enough. But my room was tiny and dirty, with a view of a wall, some amenities were missing, and the wifi didn't work very well... There was noise as well, music coming from somewhere, that lasted until after midnight. The lobby was tiny and depressing...

We stayed at the Days Inn Downtown Vancouver for six nights in July 2016 while attending a symposium at the nearby Vancouver Convention Centre. Overall we gave it a 4 rating. Would have been a 5 except for the room. Value --- Price was $189 plus all the usual surcharges, a convention rate. For the hyper inflated market of downtown...

Thank you very much for the insightful review, I must say I enjoyed our conversations and am always happy to share my vision for the hotel with anyone who has the time. We do have a plan for this hotel and it reaches far beyond the physical walls of the Days Inn Vancouver Downtown, while we know the importance of...

Very "cozy" apartment style hotel. I stayed in a 1 bed room which was incredibly tiny with no view of anything. For the price I was expecting a little bit nicer. It is still worth it because of the location. It is on the north end of downtown but close to Denman street, Stanley Park, and Gastown. Gastown and Denman...

Thank you Steven K for taking the time to review our hotel, it sounds as though you booked a Queen Bedded room and they are a smaller room indeed. For future stays a King Bedded room is on average 10 more dollars per night and the rooms are much more spacious. As for our location, it is undeniable at our...

The room was nice, hotel staff were helpful and kind. The hotel was close to transportation and restaurants. And close to the harbor. We were treated well.

I booked here because of its location. Staff were nice and very helpful. We arrived around 1 pm and able to check in early. We booked 1 queen size suite. It was clean, but smell like damped carpet or something. The housekeeping was very nice assists us with our concern.

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
