We stayed here the night before our cruise. We arrived at 11 p.m. and quickly went to bed. Upon getting up in the morning, no breakfast was offered, however a 20% discount could be used towards breakfast. When I booked this hotel months ago I was just about positive it had breakfast, oh well, we walked a block and had...

Chose this hotel for its location and price range. didn't expect a spa and gym etc - got a clean room (albeit with no chance to see the sky and hence judge the weather - just a brick wall!) , and very pleasant helpful reception staff. Able to walk from the cruise pier - caught buses and sky trains. If...

Old building (1918) refurbished some years ago. Only one elevator, slow. Well maintained rooms, comfortable although small, good bathroom, noisy air conditioner, no view from the window, they forgot to service my room my second day of stay, but the night manager handed in clean towels and soap. Breakfast is OK in a basement room a bit depresssing, but the...

Thank you edgardo daniel R for taking the time to provide your review of our hotel, I am sorry to hear the housekeeping forgot to service your room, though I am very happy to hear the Night Manager was helpful. Our parking is very competitive for downtown Vancouver, and certainly among the lowest in our class, if the hotel were...

For the price of just over $200 USD, it was NOT worth it! The bathroom door was broken. The bathroom itself was tiny. The room was too small to fit two full beds into. The wallpaper was peeling. The floor molding was coming off. And the two wall electric outlets were literally falling off the wall! Thank God we only...

We chose this hotel as it's near the cruise port and was affordable. I may have made an error in booking a double bed room but while not lacking some basic amenities the room was way overpriced. We do not have a shower, there are holes in the wall and paint dripped on the floor. It's about on par with...

Thank you very much annecaroline92 for your review of our hotel, I am sorry to hear that you did not fully enjoy your stay with us. All of our rooms have either showers or shower/bath combinations. As for the hole in the wall and paint splatter, I will look into this with our maintenance as such issues should be repaired...

The price of this hotel was good compared to other hotels in the city, which kind of made up for its bland-looking rooms. My room was well-lit and there was a nice wood floor, however, all you could see outside my window was a drab concrete wall. If I had had some sort of view - even of a street...

Thank you for taking the time to provide your review of our hotel, I am happy to hear that our staff were very helpful and that your stay was mostly pleasant. From your description of the room you were in a Queen room, as the hotel does have some smaller rooms due to all the changes made through out its...

The room was very small, water pressure in shower was very low and there was no breakfast on the weekends. Would never have spent that much for staying there. Don't stay unless you like small and no water pressure.

Thank you William B for your review, I am sorry to hear that you did not have an enjoyable stay at our hotel. We certainly do have a selection of smaller rooms and that is due to the hotels age and the multitude of changes it has experienced since its inception. We do currently provide a complimentary breakfast on weekends,...

This is a very old hotel that has not been updated. The rooms are small. The carpet in the hallways should have been replaced years ago. The room I was in did not have carpet. It was a wood floor. I had to unplug a lamp on a table in order to plug up my chargers for my cell phone...

Very basic hotel with pretty ugly decor , and showing its age / but clean, comfortable bed and all the basics you need for a one night stay prior to cruising. Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
