We arrived in town 3 hours earlier than normal check in time, and just wanted to drop our bags. Katie greeted us cheerfully and explained that the room was ready! And what an adorable room! Sunny and clean, we stayed in the Garden Suite. From...More
My husband and I arrived in Vancouver a couple of days prior to our Alaskan cruise so we could explore the city. We wanted to stay in a cozy B&B that was within easy walking distance of downtown and nearby attractions. Loved our stay at...More
What a delightful place to stay in the heart of Vancouver! Although our room was right at the top of the house, it was comfortable and pleasantly furnished. A full breakfast is served at 8am to enable guests to speak to other travellers. Coffee, tea...More
Absolutely the cutest Bed & Breakfast I've ever had the pleasure of experiencing. We arrived on a rainy evening and Barb wasted no time in showing us to our homey accommodations in the Superior King Garden Suite. The suite was spacious, clean and the decor...More

A hodgepodge of landscapes, the West End combines verdant gardens and blocky modern architecture, with Victorian bits and Edwardian bobs in between. It is a paradise for takeout food, take-away coffee, and perhaps incongruously, some of Vancouver's most languid lines of beachfront. English Bay and Sunset Beach invite swimmers, strollers, and picnic-lovers to take in dusk settling over the water, or to jog along
with the sunrise, offering breathtaking views at any time of day. The West End merges together so many looks and flavors probably because it functions a hub: its the leafy pit-stop between nightlife and entertainment venues along Davie Street, and the shopping paradise that is Robson Street, offering visitors beautiful parkland to rest on, and quick, easy food to re-fuel with in between ventures.
