We loved the convenient location and lovely room. Staff very welcoming and breakfasts excellent. We especially loved access to the fridge and 'goodies' left for guests when we returned from a long day of sightseeing.
Great location, lovely accommodations, and a free place to park--all in Downtown Vancouver! We were within walking distance to many lovely restaurants and a bustling city district. Though in town, our street was quiet and we slept like babies. Four of us stayed in the...More
Spent 3 nights. When we arrived, we were greeted by Cheryl. Her warmth was a perfect start to our 40th Anniversary. She then inforrmed us we had been upgraded at no extra cost from the East Room to the Penthouse Suite. How could things get...More
Great location, great accommodations, great people. We couldn't have asked for anything better. This will be our go-to place to stay whenever we come back to Vancouver. Can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay here for our too short vacation.
The location and charm of this bed and breakfast make it a must if you visit Vancouver.
Everything you could dream of was provided. Just like home only better. Wonderful food, great room, walking distance to everything. Owner was the best at giving tips for...More
A hodgepodge of landscapes, the West End combines verdant gardens and blocky modern architecture, with Victorian bits and Edwardian bobs in between. It is a paradise for takeout food, take-away coffee, and perhaps incongruously, some of Vancouver's most languid lines of beachfront. English Bay and Sunset Beach invite swimmers, strollers, and picnic-lovers to take in dusk settling over the water, or to jog along
with the sunrise, offering breathtaking views at any time of day. The West End merges together so many looks and flavors probably because it functions a hub: its the leafy pit-stop between nightlife and entertainment venues along Davie Street, and the shopping paradise that is Robson Street, offering visitors beautiful parkland to rest on, and quick, easy food to re-fuel with in between ventures.
