A very good location in Vancouver and very priceworthy. The hotel has refurbished rooms, is clean and friendly. I come here regularly and cannot think of anything to complain about. Ask for a riom to the side or on an upper floor, especially in the Summer. There is a taxi rank outside: most convenient. Taxi to airport is $35.

We stayed here for two nights while visiting Vancouver. This hotel is fine if you're looking for a cheaper option in a great location. It's on Robson street which means it's really close to a lot of shops/ restaurants and its only a short walk to Stanley Park. However, the parking garage is a block away down a side street... More

My wife and I booked here for three nights while our floor in our house was being done. What a terrible place. Very run down, smelly and traces of bugs. We complained to the management and all they were concerned about was that we couldn't get our money back for the other two nights. We decided to take the loss... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 10 days and enjoyed our visit. The location is amazing as theres so much to do on robson street. The main downside was I thought that the room was slightly dirty - some stains on the bed sheets etc. The bathroom was fine too. The receptionists were extremely helpful and could help with... More

I went to Vancouver for a week. I stayed in this neat tiny hotel that is in a very good location. I didn't drive and just walked around. Everytime i go back to rest, the place is always clean. Will recommend this hotel for those who want budget hotels and will spend most of the day strolling around the city.... More

After staying at the Barclay Hotel for 10 days I would say that overall it was pleasant and very comfy. My boyfriend and I had a Queen room on the first floor with a mini refrigerator, television, bath/shower and phone. The bed was sturdy, and relatively comfortable. Everything worked perfectly and got the job done. Having the mini fridge was... More

I stayed at the Barclay with my girlfriend and we both liked the room and furnishings very much. It wasn't at all modern, but that was one of things that made it so charming. A guess you can say that it's a different kind of place to stay with no disappointments.

This hotel is well run and is spotless. If you are looking for a great hotel that is very reasonable in price this is the place. If you are turned off because with old hotels you may find things not perfect don't choose this hotel. This is in a great location with everything within walking distance. The # 5 bus... More

Very cheap hotel and run well, room was small but just what we needed. No elevator but we got changed to a first floor room because of our bags, very accomadating! Over all pleasant stay and close to everything you need when setting up life in Vancouver! Thanks.

Took a mini vacation with my sister and we were on a strict budget. This hotel was in a good location for us, as it was on a few transit routes, and within our budget. Located in a quiet neighbourhood, we had no problems falling asleep after a long day of ferries and figuring out local transit. Room was clean.... More

Staying in Robson Street

As a result, it draws a diverse crowd, and the people-watching along this famous walking thoroughfare is a primary attraction.
