Good location within walking distance to Stanley park, waterfront and main downtown area. Mainly friendly and helpful staff. However you could hear people in other rooms, like from upstairs, although not major issue. My main annoyance was that the hotel charged me over 2% for paying with my credit card which they did not inform me about. Along with the...

Great location and price but you get what you pay for. Wifi connection was terrible, pillows and bed not very comfy, and there was no elevator which made it difficult to get heavy suitcase up to room, but had everything we needed, including private bathroom, housekeeping, and tv. Would probably stay somewhere a bit more luxurious next time, but if...

The worst is, a housekeeper entered my room before check out time. When she was, I had been out of the hotel due to my business. I was really surprised and asked her why. She said it's already checking out time, but there was still 10 more minutes. Good point-Location is very convenience -Room is clean -Quiet -Price is economic...

The place is a little on the older side, but it definitely is worth utilizing if you're just there for vacation and need a place to sleep. It's quite close to a large number of food options and is also very close to Stanley Park and the boat yard. I really liked having the convenience store immediately across the street...

Need I say anymore? STAY HERE AT YOUR OWN RISK! Arrived 10th January 2017 put in room 301, looked clean at first sight, badly bitten during the night, woke to find bed full of bed bugs, disgusting! called night manager who offered an upgrade to another room 415, this was not an upgrade so refused then moved to a suite...

Management response:

This is not the real experience of the hotel which, like any other regardless of number of stars, has to stay relentlessly on guard against this type of problem. Housekeeping is trained to look every time they clean a room. If required, the room and surrounding areas are treated with special equipment and there's preventive measures for keeping other pests...

The hotel is very well situated for a few action-packed days in central Vancouver. Not only is it in the best location for shops, has plenty of restaurants, all-night cafes and good transport links but is also walking disctance to most attractions and all for a very reasonable room rate. There are differences to the rooms however, with the small...

The location is great. The room was clean and small. The inconvenient is that is an old hotel, so you can hear everything that your neighbours say or do... not very private and suitable for people who wants to sleep and not to be awaken in the middle of the night by clubbing people and hear everything they are doing...

The hotel is old and kind of ugly and there's no elevator, but they have the location as a strong point and the price, which is low. Some of the staff barely look at your face besides some nice cleaning ladies, one of the receptionists was Chinese and barely spoke english. There's no breakfast but you can find several places...

The location is fantastic! It has Cora breakfast right next door and a lots of restaurants a stone throw away. Timber and Forage are about 30 m away, both are fantastic restaurants. You can walk to the Seabus, Stanley Park, downtown and Gastown. The hotel itself is adequate. It has the basics you need: comfortable bed, bathroom, fridge, TV with...
