The Atrium Hotel Vancouver garners positive remarks for its spotless rooms, praised for their comfort and cleanliness, and modern renovations that contribute to a serene atmosphere. While the complimentary breakfast and free shuttle service are highlights among amenities, guests would welcome more variety in breakfast options. Some travelers, however, have raised concerns about the rooms' outdated aspects and soundproofing. Despite mixed views on value, the convenient location near dining and events is a consistent plus point among reviews.

My family and I stayed at Atrium Inn from July 23rd to 27th, 2024. For my wife & I, it was actually our second time staying here. The last time was back in June 2022.
For this visit, we stayed in Room 213, which was a 2 queen standard room. According to the front desk employees, all rooms at this hotel were fully renovated from April to July 2024. The room we stayed in had all new furniture (which was one of concerns I noted on my previous visit here). The only issue was that it seemed as if the renovations didn’t make it to the bathroom. The tile in the shower looked quite old and the grout between the white tiles did not look new at all. In fact, it looked like what I recalled back a couple years ago. While a new 4K TV was now in this room, the guide to locate channels to watch was clumsy to use. And, once again, there was no ability to cast from my iPhone or iPad to the TV so that we could enjoy our streaming services on the large screen TV in the room,

The complimentary breakfast was ok, but I wished they had a waffle or pancake machine to make fresh waffles/pancakes. it was great that they kept their free parking policy at this hotel, so that’s a huge plus.

The location was also a major reason we stayed here again for the second time. It’s not a long drive to Stanley Park or Downtown Vancouver from this hotel.

This time around, we enjoyed being able to walk to Hastings Park for our morning walks/jogs.

Overall, I’m going to stick with my rating of 3 out of of 5 stars since there’s definitely room for improvement at this hotel.

Mediocre and major price gouging for the TSwift show. Towels are small and they don’t stock them well. Parking is free. Beds are like sleeping on a wood board. Breakfast is mid. Housekeeping (a man) came in our room (3 women) at 9am without knocking. Wouldn’t stay there again but it was okish.

My plane was delayed and I had to do a late check in so I called, and the staff was friendly and understanding. The breakfast was filling and the staff were very attentive cleaning the tables as soon as the guest left. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean.

Our experience at Atrium Inn was great. For Vancouver, the hotel’s price is quite reasonable (hotel prices here are very pricey though so be prepared to PAY anywhere you stay close/close-ish to the city center). It takes around 20mins to get into downtown Vancouver from the hotel via car.
The parking is a fantastic inclusion, with a covered & secured carpark under the hotel - there are three levels, all accessible by the hotels elevator. Access was easy and manageable, especially if you have maps.
The breakfast exceeded our expectations with both hot and cold options. It was managed well by staff and breakfast items were maintained well. From scrambled eggs with bacon to cereal with fruit, you have a range of options available.
The reception staff were friendly and helpful, we were able to check in a little early, and they held our luggage after check out too. The cleaning lady also helped us go past her cleaning trolley with our bags on the way to our room.
We opted for a standard queen room with 2 queen beds and it was clean and comfortable.

Pro: our room was on the fourth (top) floor and was nice and quiet, recommend this floor if you are a light sleeper!
Con: none - I wish we stayed longer but we only needed one night at the time.
Tip: use the free shuttle service into Downtown Vancouver! Parking is quite expensive in the city so take advantage of savings where you can! Liaise with reception for more information.

We had a great stay, so I would stay again and recommend!

We had a great experience at the Atrium, we were checked in by Golazin who was lovely. We had two people cancel from our group so asked to be upgraded to a different room which was easily accommodated for the same price. The room was nice, corner suite king bed with pull out couch. Nice sized room, clean, and the beds were quite comfortable. Right next door to the PNE which was perfect for us and some great food places across the street. We were on the busy road side but didn’t find the traffic noise to be an issue. Overall a great experience, we will definitely be back again.

Our room for 4 people with 2 queen beds is a very good size, with small dining table and chairs, minibar fridge, big TV, microwave. Has plenty of space to move. The bathroom is designed for elder person, with railings and chair for shower, shower floor very safe which is very good for my 88 year old Mom! The breakfast has cereals, bread, fruit, hot scrambled eggs, bacon etc and choice of coffee, hot chocolate, tea, juice are good. There is also to go breakfast! The dining room is big enough. We ate good everyday! We are thankful for what they offer. A lady working for breakfast, constantly replenishing the food and drinks! When you need extra towel, toiletries simply ask the Reception and they provide it with smile! The lobby is beautiful. In front of the hotel, there are Pizzeria, Vietnamese Restaurant and Gas Station. This hotel provide shuttle to Airport, Cruiseport and near Stanley Park! Bus stop is very near to go downtown.

Best breakfast anywhere! Compliments to the chef! The hotel is a bit off the beaten path, but was easily accessed by public transit. The price of the room and the quality of the free buffet breakfast made it worth the price. Will return soonest!

$600 for a standard double is a complete price gouge. Found an online price for less after booking and they would not honour the cheaper advertised price. This is a budget hotel. Do not book expecting anything more than a run down room. We stayed at the Westin Bayshore the next night for the same price and it was 1000 times better and worth that type of rate.

I highly recommend this place! The location is excellent, with plenty of food and coffee options nearby, as well as easy access to a shopper mart and London Drugs. The street is clean and free of any homeless presence. The staff are friendly, and breakfast is included, with the breakfast hall being uncrowded. There’s also a hall available for private events. The room is spacious, with a big, comfortable bed and a large bathroom featuring a big bathtub. Despite being located near the street, it’s incredibly quiet, and I had the best, most restful sleep here compared to other, more expensive downtown hotels. Overall, a fantastic stay!

The shuttle is still there. We scheduled for two days later. You can also schedule at the last minute. They had trouble with the shuttle when we were so they paid for a cab.

I don't know what your question is but if you wish to have an extensive answer you may get in touch with the Atrium Inn Vancouver. I understand that there is a shuttle bus that brings you down town. Otherwise it is not too far to walk to the city centre. Good luck
Answer from Rose P

Do not take the shuttle but there are taxi cabs in the area and there are plenty of them. There was also a city bus and you can look that up by BC Transit and put in your address of where you're going and the hotel address and it will tell you what buses to take.
