Had a meeting at this hotel and everything was excellent! Rooms are nice and big has a bar and small restaurant. Great little mall across the street. Walking distance to many restaurants (Keg) and other shoppingWill go back if needed.

This hotel is starting to show its age and is in need of some updating. That said, the food and service were very good and the staff was first rate. The location is hard to beat and most major downtown attractions are within easy walking distance. Not the newest or fanciest, but a decent choice for most.

I stayed at the Met downtown Vancouver for two nights at the end of February. First time staying here, normally I stay across the street at the Four seasons. It's a nice , boutique hotel. Arrival and check in was easy. Room is nice but average. There was a hair in the bath tub prior to me using it which...

Very clean and comfortable - great downtown location - three minute walk to Sky -train. Two minute walk to underground mall with large selection of stores. Many great restaurants within walking distance. Some room with views.

Very comfortable bed; clean and quiet rooms. Pool area was open until 11:00 which is really nice when travelling for business. Front desk offered me a slightly later check out at no charge so I was able to check out during my business lunch break. Really appreciated that.

Never disappointed with this hotel, very efficient, very clean, very friendly, very comfortable. Have stayed here many times in the past and it always offers a consistent and high quality experience. The only opportunity for improvement I note is in the lounge area - many of the chairs are too low for the tables; the entrance is a bit congested...

just enough to feel luxurious but not some much to be indulgent. Great location. Close to the Vancouver Art Gallery, Gas Town etc. Nice lap pool and hottub. Food was good and hotel staff attentive. I will return.

Good location; however, some of the rooms are small and dated. If you're looking for a room with two beds, note that you'll get two "twin" beds if you stay at this hotel. Shout out to the concierge (Doug) who helped us with our restaurant reservations.

Hotel needs updating and a new elevator. Thicker walls had a couple fighting all night beside us very loud. Staff ok not exceptional. Valet staff were the nicest. I more than likely won't stay here again.

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
