Great downtown location steps away from everything. Tons of great dining and shopping choices. Rooms are large and updated with plenty of outlets for charging your devices. The only downside is that soundproofing is nonexistent. It seemed as though a basketball team was running dribbling drills in the room above me. The staff was really helpful and if you can...

Overall the hotel was great. The Gym and pool area was very nice. Comfortable beds as well and Starbucks was downstairs plus Tim Hottons. Short walk to cafes for "chicken and waffles" or other breakfast cafes and the Vancouver Art Gallery. Cab rides to other sightseeing places was also cheap. In room dining food options did not look that great...

Stayed for one night which was done through one of the last minute booking sites. Checkin was a breeze, the staff were friendly, enquiringly about our holiday and what we had experienced. We were given an upgrade to a King room with a balcony which was totally unexpected and appreciated. The room was huge, spotless and the bed was so...

Went here for a conference. Room was nice, with a nice view. The elevators are very unique in that they programmed to accept the floor you are going to in advance, but the downfall is that it can add floors as people press the button on that level. This can cause a huge delay in the elevator getting to your...

I went for a congress in Vancouver (at the Convention Centre). It is walk distance (maybe 4 blocks) from the hotel. The room was very clean, no carpets (I love it), a wonderful bathroom, white towels, a good fittness centre. The breakfast was really very good.

We stayed at the Hyatt last weekend for a long weekend away celebrating our 10th anniversary. The Hyatt provided a wonderful oasis in the middle of the city. The location was great! Easy walk or bus ride to anywhere you wanted to go. The room was modern, comfortable and well appointed. I also loved how easy it was to access...

Our recent stay at the Hyatt Regency was very good. Location was ideal for shopping. Breakfast, although pricey, was good. Internet was good & car parking okay... We did not use the hotel's parking package but the daily rates at the Parkdale.

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
