Our first time in Canada, we toured it from Toronto to Vancouver via the national parks in the Rockies and Hyatt Regency in Vancouver was our last stop. My first thoughts go to the hotel's staff: all our demands were promptly met (high floor, nice view) for which we are very grateful, thank you. The staff was polite and made...

This was my first stay in a Hyatt but it is not my last as I've already joined the club, got the card and have become a Gold member. I am an IHG loyalist for over 12 years and I've stayed in more wonderful Intercontinental hotels around the world than I can count. I am beyond Platinum Ambassador at this...

The stay at the Hyatt was very nice and the Regency Club was excellent. The rain shower in the rooms are terrible and need to be removed or at least provide a hand held shower so a person can rinse off properly. The rain shower is terrible as you cannot properly rinse off.

I highly recommend the Hyatt Vancouver. They do an exceptional job at their customer service, consistent and professional. I will return to the Hyatt for business and leisure in the future as I believe they know the core value of retention and retaining their clientele.

This was a great choice for a week-long stay. The staff is hardworking and the rooms are comfortably furnished. They even have a business special rate that includes shirt ironing, breakfast, and a few extra goodies. One thing to improve is the gym--not enough weights.

The staff and support team went the extra mile for our group and when I dealt with a personal family loss they were gracious and concerned and assisted me with final day details so I could head home. Would definitely return to the Hyatt Vancouver.

I don't know how to start this review, because it was so perfect that I want to do the review justice. When we were planning this trip to Vancouver, we wanted a really nice hotel. We looked into all the other high end hotels, but they were so expensive and didn't have much availability - so we settled on Hyatt....

This hotel is excellent. Staff are attentive and go the extra mile to anticipate your needs. Clean and spacious rooms with adequate business facilities. Lobby seating could be expanded to accommodate guests. The restaurant and bar are also exceptional. Highest recommendations!

I stayed at the Hyatt for four nights to attend a conference. The hotel is downtown Vancouver-a couple of blocks from the water-great location. Easy walking to everything. Excellent service from front desk, valet, bartenders-the works. Starbucks in lobby is a plus. Room was large, very comfortable and best of all -quiet and free wi-fi. I would highly recommend this...

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
