The Hyatt is our favorite hotel to stay at when we visit Vancouver. The location is perfect for walking to restaurants and shopping. The rooms are lovely and very comfortable. The staff was extremely kind and even sent a birthday cake to our room for my husbands birthday!

I've stayed at the Hyatt Regency Vancouver three times in the past 6 months and each time has been a pleasure. The location is perfect as it is near shopping and restaurants, you can walk to Robson, Granville or BC Place or it's a short cab ride anywhere else you want to go. The rooms are clean and well stocked....

Great location and walk everywhere. We walked and took the ferry to Granville Island and English Bay, very convenient. The room is clean but the mattress is a bit too soft for me. Overall, the hotel is great and I like the gym and the swimming pool a lot. Will come back again.

Able to walk downhill about 4 blocks to Cruise Terminal at Canada Place. 3 blocks to Skytrain station for Canada Line for the airport. Starbucks coffee in room and in lobby. Excellent staff and service, especially the valet, Derek, who gave me the first and best impression of this hotel.

Stayed here with a group last weekend for my birthday. This hotel is very centrally located. The gym, pool, and hot tub were also nice getaways from a long day of eating, shopping, and sight-seeing. Extra kudos to Jonathan (the front desk manager) and his team for going the extra mile to acknowledge my birthday. The warm hospitality and excellent...

I recently stayed at the Hyatt in Vancouver for a long weekend. We had a junior suite. It was fabulous!! Basically two adjoining rooms, one with beds, the other with a living room. Both had their own bathroom and closet. 6 people could easily stay in this big room. Nice facilities - good sized gym, heated outdoor pool, hot tub....

Located 4 to 5 blocks from the Port of Vancouver places the Hyatt in close proximity to sea plane sightseeing, water tours as well as the many dining and shopping spots in the port area. The hotel has a fine restaurant called the Mosaic that serves up great meals that look as delicious as they actually are. This is one...

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
