I've stayed at the Hyatt Regency Vancouver three times in the past 6 months and each time has been a pleasure. The location is perfect as it is near shopping and restaurants, you can walk to Robson, Granville or BC Place or it's a short cab ride anywhere else you want to go. The rooms are clean and well stocked....

I had a good stay at the Hyatt Regency Vancouver for a conference. The location is great -- downtown and an easy walk to the water and to many of the sights of Vancouver. The facility take advantage of the location. Many of the conference rooms have great views. My room was fine, but standard. My one complaint would be...

I have stayed at this hotel twice while in Vancouver for business. The location is excellent, located next to an underground mall with restaurants, a drug store, and a Staples. Easy walking distance to the Expo Line and Canada Line of the SkyTrain. Just 2-3 blocks from Robson St and many excellent restaurants. Plus, there are excellent views from most...

I stayed at Hyatt Regency for a few nights and was very impressed with the overall quality of the hotel. The hotel manager, Sara, emailed me before my stay and concierge provided me with list of places to eat even before I reached Vancouver. This hotel is close to Canada place (5 minute walking) and a block from Robson Street....

I spent 3 days and 2 nights as a guest in this lovely hotel while my husband was in a conference. My job was to rest and this well-trained staff made it very easy. Each and every employee of the hotel was friendly and helpful. The room was lovely and spacious. (We had a king room.) The food in the...

Hotel was very clean. Outdoor pool was heated and children enjoyed it. Gym was amazing with many cardio machines, strength training machines and free weights. Hotel room was quiet except for unavoidable traffic noise. Location was handy and could easily walked everywhere we needed. We will definitely be using this hotel each year for our annual trip.

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
