Loved this hotel. We had a deluxe king room which although small had everything you could ask for. A huge bed (larger than our own super king), the room was beautifully clean and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. It has a restaurant and a sports bar attached and also a liquor store at the end of the block-...

A decent hotel with good rooms, nice staff, a great location and good prices. Our only complaint after staying 3 days was that the bathroom floor was too cold. Ask for a second bathmat. (And here are the last 15 characters.)

We came down to Vancouver to take in the Christmas train at Stanley Park for the night and often with quick overnight last minute trips good accommodations are hard to come by, especially in the holiday season. I love finding quaint, boutique hotels and Moda came through! The lobby is bright and welcoming, parking right across the street, friendly front...

We stayed on the third floor, corner room of Smithe and Seymour. Good views of Vancouver streets from this room. Plenty of space and accommodations with downstairs amenities. It has a nice 50's feel to the hotel - part of keeping an aesthetic rooted in an older time period. Room service is polite and helpful; I can scarcely complain. There's...

This hotel is located in the heart of Downtown Vancouver. Really clean, renovated boutique hotel with all of the creature comforts you could want. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Within walking distance of tons of restaurants, shopping, and quaint coffee shops.

I like the Moda, it's convenient, not overly expensive, and is located in a very central location in downtown Vancouver. Stayed there on the return from a Skiing trip to Whistler, and the Whistler shuttle drops off at the Clarion Budget hotel, which is around the corner and down the block from the Moda. This time, I will be staying...

+ Amazing location! + Safe + Small fridge + Coffee machine + Restaurants downstairs (good price and food) - However, we had one of the worst internet experienced until we asked to reset the router. - Very weird blankets and hard beds, uncomfortable pillows - View from the window on the dirty back alley which is not very pleasing in...

Staying in Granville Street

Neighbourhood Profile
Granville Street
Granville Street spans many, multiple city blocks and has become so fastidiously known for its nightclubs and watering holes that it's fondly nicknamed the city's 'Entertainment District.' Friday and Saturday nights are the most popular and lively, with young revelers taking to the streets in droves and keeping the party going until late. Granville Street, being mostly open to pedestrian-only traffic, has a healthy social life along its main thoroughfares, even outside of its cafes and pubs, spilling onto the sidewalks. The locals are chatty, the shops at its expansive Pacific Centre Mall are trendy, and the whole area seems to be on a sugar rush: in a good way. Exuberance and camaraderie classify this neighbourhood.
