Excellent facilities & rooms. Quiet despite central location. Customer service exceptional - they took time to respond to me as an individual and made me feel like a valued customer. Great location for getting around in Vancouver

We had a wonderful stay at the St.Regis. We had a beautiful corner room on the fifth floor. The hotel definitely has a boutique feel. We stayed at the end of a cruise and in spite of the hills it was a fairly easy walk from Canada Place. We arrived on a Sunday morning and wanted to start sightseeing. Our...

This was my second stay at the St. Regis, both times over 5 nights. The hotel is within easy walking distance of the Convention center, shopping and dining. The St. Regis Bar & Grill was the best food I had all week! To bad I didn't "discover" it until the last night! The front desk and service were impeccable. When...

The location is good, with many excellent restaurants within walking distance. The beds and linens are very comfortable. For those not on an expense account, it's nice that many amenities are free (water bottles, breakfast, internet, phone calls...). The price is not cheap but not out of line for the area. Attentive service. The rooms are small, so this is...

We spent three days in Vancouver before cruising to Alaska. Chose the St Regis upon recommendation from family. We were not disappointed. The staff goes over and beyond what is expected to make your stay comfortable. Rooms are quiet and comfortably appointed. Made to order complimentary breakfast is very good. Free internet and long distance call was a nice plus

This is a fantastic hotel. The staff was very professional, friendly and accommodating. We had a corner room on the 4th overlooking the street. The room was spacious and very clean. The decor and ambiance was spectacular. The complimentary breakfast was very good and the hotel's pub was excellent. The neighborhood is very lively with restarants, upscale shopping and bars...

My wife and I spent 4 nights at the St. Regis in June, 2013 on our first visit to Vancouver. We chose it because it was a small hotel, included breakfast in the room rate, was located right next to a station for the Sky Train from the airport and just a few blocks from Canada Place, Gas Town, and...

We stayed at the St. Regis for three nights in June, 2013. We appreciated the amenities (free made-to-order breakfast, wifi, Fuji water, long distance). The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, especially Diana who is at the front desk in the evening. She knew the answers to all of our questions about the city and recommended good places to eat...

I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel for 5 days during the month of March 2013. It is a small hotel, which I prefer. The service was very personable. I never opened the door for myself nor called for the elevator. I was there on a business trip, so I really appreciated the free internet and telephone calls...

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
