I saw all the good reviews and booked this hotel. I am not sure where the reviews are coming from. The price is similar to other hotels in the area but for a very small cramped room. I booked directly with the hotel and confirmed via email yet there was still confusion when I checked in. They have now charged my card 3 times for the same stay. Also, parking is a hassle and definitely overpriced at $30. The parking garage is not attached to the hotel and is located around the corner. This is made worse by the fact that there is no proper loading zone in front of the hotel for check-in and you can only stand for 2-3 minutes before being ticketed. It is almost the same price for valet parking at other downtown hotels.  Overall would not recommend.

Hotel's Favourite
We stayed at the St Regis Vancouver for three nights after our cruise and we can honestly say that they exceeded our expectations in every way possible. Great location - very convenient to everything. The staff is superb. They were most helpful, friendly and professional from the moment we arrived until the moment we, sadly, had to say goodbye. We were especially impressed with the professionalism and exceptional customer service skills of two staff members - Alberto and Daniella. Their warm smiles, friendly greeting, calling us by name, helping us with directions, luggage, patiently answering our questions - made us feel more like family than hotel guests. The St Regis provides a wonderful sit down hot breakfast every morning. Kudos to the chef. The food was consistently very good, service was excellent and portions were perfect. The serving staff at the breakfast restaurant is, by far, the nicest, friendliest group of servers we have encountered in a very long time! This hotel knows the secret of how to create customers for life. The St Regis will be our hotel of choice whenever we visit Vancouver.

We stayed here 4 nights in April to start our family spring break. Loved the suite with separate king bedroom, the bed was most comfortable and we slept best here of all three hotels this vacation. The complimentary hot breakfast is made to order and delicious. The staff was wonderfully attentive and responsive. Excellent location near metro, shopping and restaurants in downtown Vancouver.

Wonderful hotel right beside a subway stop. The staff was incredibly kind, friendly and helpful. I arrived at around 11 AM and they checked me in right away--unheard of! I haven't been treated that well in a long while--definitely outstanding. Made to order breakfast, too.

Do not stay at one of the big hotels when visiting Vancouver. This quaint little gem offers the most impeccable service, cleanliness and staff we have experienced. From the first greeting at the front door we felt welcome to Vancouver. They couldn't do enough to make us feel our stay was important to them. The breakfast was amazing served to us with the utmost courtesy and attention to detail. We literally felt like celebrities each day they seemed so glad to see us. Our room was well attended and cleaned daily which we really appreciated. Cannot say enough about this FABULOUS hotel. We would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Vancouver. Thank you.

I booked this hotel very last Minute and was not disappointed. Check in was smooth, super friendly staff. The lobby is small but has a boutique feel. It’s an older hotel but it’s really nice. Our room was small but we were going to a concert so really who needs a big room! The bathroom was very spacious. Then bed was comfortable & the pillows were great. We didn’t do the free breakfast as we had an early flight so decided to sleep in as long as we could. Location wise, if you’re going to Rogers place for a concert or hockey game it’s a 10 minute walk. It was perfect! There are a couple restaurants very close, one located at the hotel. Across the street is Tim Hortons, A&W, 7 Eleven & maybe 5 minutes away shopping! We will be booking this hotel again for sure!

This hotel is in an excellent position for downtown Vancouver. The reception staff are very welcoming and our bedroom (Queen with bath in the en-suite) was a very good size and had all of the items we required. We asked for a fridge in our room, which was supplied and you can also request a microwave. Breakfast is included in the room rate and we were very pleasantly surprised by what was available to eat: continental, full breakfast or omelettes. The food was well presented and again, the staff were friendly and efficient. There is a bar/restaurant onsite, which would be very handy, if required. All in all a very good stay and we would recommend this establishment. Thanks to all the staff.

Very disappointing stay. Our key cards when trying to get back into the hotel/room failed to work. After we checked out we asked to keep our bags in storage as we didn’t have a bus back until 4pm however the receptionist responded with a one-worded answer no which was bizarre as you can keep your bags in storage before checking in? And finally, I accidentally left a bag in the room after check out and called the hotel the same evening to locate it and it was nowhere to be found. It was not in either of my bags I brought home therefore I left it in the room. Awful customer service

Dear Ms. Jones, Please accept our apologies for any shortcomings you experienced during your stay. We’re committed to making our guests feel warmly welcomed no matter the circumstances which arise during their visit. There was some confusion for our front desk as to the number of guests in your room as you had booked for two, checked in with three, and checked out with four. Our included breakfast service necessitates that we impose a surcharge for any guest more than two. This confusion doesn’t forgive your experience at check-out, and our staff should have been clearer in communicating that the luggage room was full. For that, we sincerely apologize and invite you to contact us directly if you wish to discuss this further. Best regards, Jeremy Roncoroni General Manager, St. Regis Hotel gm@stregishotel.com
