At the St. Regis Hotel, many guests have lauded the comfortable rooms, which boast impressive attention to detail and charming period features; however, a few guests have noted that the rooms might feel snug and occasionally noisy. The amenities, including a satisfying breakfast, heated bathroom floors, and L'Occitane toiletries, receive high marks for enhancing the guest experience. The hotel's atmosphere, with its classic and tasteful decor, is frequently commended, as is the spotless cleanliness maintained throughout.
Its central location earns praise for convenience, and the professional, courteous service is often described as exceeding expectations. Despite some minor criticisms, the St. Regis is popular for providing good value.

Hotel's Favourite
I travel frequently in the USA and Internationally, and in my experience, the St. Regis Hotel is one of the nicest places I have ever stayed. The location, in the middle of downtown Vancouver was great, and close to a train station with trains going directly to the airport, which was quite convenient. My room was very clean, beautifully furnished, and well equipped. All the staff I interacted with were friendly, helpful and professional. Breakfast was included with my room, and it was extremely good, served by super friendly folks. Also ,ate one evening in the "bar & grill" and that was good too. Also, do not miss the Beaucoup Bakery -- fantastic pastries and sandwiches. Highly recommend if you're visiting Vancouver.

What is not to like about the St Regis? Hundreds of tv channels. Daily housekeeping the leaves a new bottle of Fiji Water, chocolates, and excellent single cup pouches of Pedro's organic coffee. Made to order sit-down breakfast (eggs/omelets with choice of ingredients, potatoes, fruits, toast, juices, coffee) and wonderful waitstaff. Fast, free wifi. Central location only a couple blocks from SkyTrain, SeaBus, and many bus stops. Remodeled rooms with great heat and a/c, soundproofing, lighting, in-room safe, multiple recharging outlets.
There are a limited number of microwaves and mini-fridges, first come first serve, for a small extra charge. We were assigned a corner room (310) with a queen bed and 4 windows facing 2 directions. Curtains and sheer screens offered 2 choices of privacy. Everything is superbly clean!
The lobby is small, the elevator holds only 4 persons, and there is no pool. None of that kept me from rating this property a 5 out of 5. The staff, from housekeeping to desk clerks to breakfast servers, were the friendliest people I met in Canada. They want to give you a great experience...and they succeeded. I can't wait to return.

St. Regis Hotel is a perfect place for a stay in Vancouver. Central to a host of amenities and locations, all within walking distance: 10 minutes to Gastown, 20 minutes to Stanley Park and 30 minutes to Granville Island. The hotel also has free day passes with the local Steve Nash gym which is a 2 minute walk, an array of equipment and this includes work out sessions with the in house trainers. The breakfasts are served on the LL floor and although they don't have the extensive menu as the larger waterfront hotels, it is still good value and part of the overall price. Front of house staff are welcoming and rooms (208) are spacious with bathroom having underfloor heating - a must for January.

What a gem in the heart of Vancouver! I cannot say enough about my stay at the St. Regis. My suite was large, spotless, modern and very comfortable with two TVs, a large workstation and plenty of drawer and closet space. The complimentary full serve breakfast was fresh and delicious, served in a beautifully remodeled breakfast room with many TVs to enjoy the morning news. Jeremy Roncoroni, the General Manager and his staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. I would highly recommend this hotel for both business and pleasure. Well done St. Regis!

My spouse and I have been returning to the St Regis every year for a quiet stay and a weekend on the town. We hadn't been back until now and since our last visit the hotel has had some beautiful restorations! The breakfast hall is stunning and bright now and the breakfast options are still amazing.
Since this was our first stay since the pandemic, we were so relieved to see the social distancing measures being taken here. We felt so comfortable staying in a room that felt, smelled and looked spotless and clean and the breakfast hall and restaurant weren't crowded at all. Everyone was given plenty of space and we felt so at ease.
Thank you again, St Regis for another wonderful stay.

This is our third time staying at St Regis and it will not be our last. The hotel, quality of rooms and the excellent staff lived up to our expectations.
This time we travelled with our adult son, our daughter and her husband and their two year old. We booked three rooms and arranged a cot ahead of time. I knew we were to be looked after. Our flght from BC was cancelled and we arrive six hours late at eleven pm. A call ahead had alerted the hotel. When we pulled up in two taxis the night Desk Manager was outside immediately and helped carry our luggage and ski gear in. We were in our rooms and our gear stored within several minutes. Thank you.
Our family was impressed with the quality, modern facilities and comfort of the rooms. They do an upgrade on a number of rooms each year so the rooms are always of an excellent standard. The breakfast downstairs each morning is a great start to any day - busy or casual.
The front desk staff and management team are just fantastic, always friendly and helpful with any needs and on advice on things to do and moving around in Vancouver. On our last day they stored our luggage until airport departure time and then carried it all out and loaded our taxis. Same service in - same service out.
I will always stay at St Regis when in Vancouver.

The St. Regis is a hidden gem. We had a fabulous stay with our teen age children. We had two rooms, one double and one queen. We arrived early and although we were not able to check in, the front desk staff was very helpful. ( Edward and Fransisco) They directed us to a business type waiting room where we could rearrange our luggage and provided very detailed information on how we could navigate our way to Granville Island before our room was ready. Later in the day the front desk staff called us to let us know our room was ready and they had already delivered our luggage to our room. Each day the staff was so welcoming and ready to serve. They held doors open, quickly got the elevator ready for us and provided any additional toiletries and towels to the room when needed. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The hotel was very quiet. We had breakfast each morning and the wait staff was equally as amazing as the front desk staff. We researched many hotels before deciding on the St. Regis for our Vancouver get away and we 100% picked the right hotel. I would recommend this hotel to anyone planning a stay in Vancouver.

We stayed four nights in an “executive king” room prior to taking an Alaska cruise out of Vancouver. The location of the hotel was great for proximity to the Canada Place cruise terminal (just a few blocks walking distance) and to public transportation. The Expo line train entrance is a few steps from the front door and the Canada line is within a couple blocks. In addition there are many bus lines within a couple blocks and Vancouver has excellent public transit.
Our room was very comfortable with a great mattress and the most comfortable pillows of any hotel I’ve ever stayed. Usually hotel pillows provide no support but these were really good quality and supportive. The room was a little small with us and our luggage but the furniture was nice. The closet was tiny but there was a small safe, good for storing passports and small items. The washroom was generously sized compared to the room, with a heated tile floor and upscale fixtures. The shower was large with decent water pressure and plenty of hot water. L’occitane toiletries were provided although the scents might not be to everyone’s liking. There was no mini-fridge which would have been useful as we could have brought leftovers back from the great restaurants nearby. There really wasn’t room for one in the room. There was a Nespresso machine and the housekeeping staff kept our supplies stocked.
The Gotham Steakhouse is on the first floor but it was closed for renovation until our last night so we didn’t try it. The bar and grill was very nice with excellent service and friendly staff. The menu is limited to pub style food but we did dine there the first night and the food was very good. It was a bit crowded as many people were coming in to watch the hockey playoffs as the Canucks were playing. The only complaint was that we were unable to charge our food and drinks to our room due to some technology issues.
The breakfast being included was a great benefit and the food and service were excellent. The omelettes were delicious with fresh ingredients and delicious toast and I looked forward to breakfast each morning. The coffee was not that great but there is a Tim Horton’s across the street.
Other than the room being small the only other downside was that it was a bit noisy at night on Friday and Saturday night particularly when the bars closed down around 2am including the dude who thought blasting his car stereo on the street at 2:30am was a good idea both nights. However this is in the heart of downtown in a big city and it was quieter on Sunday and Monday night (Canucks were not playing). The other concern is that there is a sizable homeless population in Vancouver and while we felt safe during the day, we were not inclined to be out late at night.

Perfect place to stay in downtown Vancouver
The hotel is accessible to many attractions, shopping and restaurants. The bed was very comfortable, albeit city-sized small, with a safe to store passports etc.
The bathroom was equipped with a hair dryer, and a tub/shower combination that offered L'Occitane shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel dispensers! WOW!
The "served" breakfast was delicious and included coffee, tea and juices. A very helpful and accommodating staff!! Loved having a restaurant/bar adjacent to the hotel! The price, luxury, location and safety of The St. Regis can’t be beat! HIGHLY recommended!

We stayed there from Feb 11th - February 15th. There was chocolate and water awaiting our room. Right now because of Covid there is no daily room service but all you have to do is call to request clean towels and they are quick to respond. Each day we were able to get 2 bottles of water. The bathroom is quite large with nice heavy towels. The staff was always very responsive if we needed something. The stay came with a choice of 3 different hot breakfast options each morning. I would definitely stay there again. Impeccable service and friendly hotel clerks.
