This was my second time staying at this hotel. This time around was even better because I booked a corner king bedroom suite and this time it had a great view overlooking the city! I love the intimate feel of this hotel as a opposed to the huge overly too busy hotels. We attended a fair at the Convention Centre...

First time and will definitely return. Great rooms with a sitting area and separate bedroom. Clean, well appointed, great staff, awesome value for the money. Centrally located in downtown Vancouver. Easy access to shopping, stadiums, waterfront, etc. You won't be disappointed.

The hotel is conveniently situated in downtown Vancouver, 5 minutes walk from Canada Place and the convention center. The lobby is warm and inviting with ample seating if you happen to be waiting for a taxi or a friend to arrive. The staff are excellent. All very friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. Aaron was brilliant and definitely went the extra mile...

Nice spacious room with lounge and 2 huge televisions. We didn't make use of any of the facilities due to it being a very short stay. Only minor fault was the rather dated appearance of the hotel and room. However you get what you pay for in life. I'd certainly stay again.

We loved our suite. It is great to have two rooms in the heart of the city at a reasonable rate. Beds are very comfy, room is quiet, Keurig coffee maker, a kettle for tea, a nice robe, and a daily paper. Friendly staff provided maps and directions. Hotel is small and has an intimate feel. We walked around the...

From the moment we checked in, the service was fantastic. Victoria at the front desk was extremely accommodating, and Aaron and Emmett at the font door were very helpful in directing us around the town and to the sites. This was our first visit to Vancouver and we could not have picked a finer hotel which is centrally located to...

Everything was great with this hotel - except for the constant noise at night which kept us awake ! Trucks arrive throughout the night as there is a restaurant right behind this hotel. There are also the sounds of glass tumbling into dumpsters which make sleeping impossible !

Loved the room with separate spacious living area for two. The customer service was awesome. Free WiFi is great. The location is close to the Vancouver Harbor, Convention Center, Robson Street, Granville Island and Stanley Park. Only thing that could be added would be a microwave oven for the tasty leftovers.

I had needed a hotel for my Wife and myself (and four other couples traveling with us) for the night of our arrival in Vancouver until we could board our cruise on the following day. After an extensive on-line search for a lodging location, I selected the Hotel Le Soleil over any of the other options - and was very...

Centrally located in Vancouver, the hotel is a great location to start exploring the city. Cozy boutique with nice sized rooms, some with view. Ask for room above 10th floor. Indian restaurant attached to lobby great for breakfast. The staff was exceptional, especially Paul, the supervisor.

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
